Sweet tooth is killing me tonight, but water a book and bath will have to do.. Less than 72 hours left!

hit the 70 lbs. lost mark today... still can't believe it! 2 months post op. So, so happy and healthy. <3

Surgery is finally done and over with...everything went very well, and I'm healing up beautifully! If I were a better person, I would call up my boss and try to gt back to work sooner than planned But I'm not :-)

Fun time last night seeing Steve Miller Band. The guy has serious skills and some bluesy chops that I really enjoyed. Very attractive young gal sitting right in front of me....alone. She wasn't alone as soon as the opening act finished....their guitarist came and sat beside her, clearly a couple. It was a cool experience to shake his hand and thank him for playing so well for the crowd. He really kicked ass on Hendrix's "Little Wing". Overall....excellent show.

I am clearly irresistible!

Contemplating adding a gun turret to my car for these fools on the interstate commutes.......anyone want to take the wheel ? Fools on the road getting on my last nerve......fargin bastages !!!

Whats new everyone?

6 month post op visit this morning and i am down 177lbs. Still not at my goal yet time to kick things into high gear.

We took the kids to the pool today and I wore a swimsuit and got in to splash around with the kids. I never would have done this last summer. Feeling happy!

a few weeks ago I bought a pair of size 12 dress pants because they were on clearance. they were a couple of inches away from fastening/zipping. today they fastened/zipped easily. don't look quite right yet, but within the next couple of weeks I suspect they will. I haven't worn that size in a very long time. guess I better put them in the queue to be hemmed up!

11 months post-RNY today. I did my usual weighing/measuring/etc, and though I only lost 6 pounds in the last month, I did lose a couple inches. Plodding along now... I've lost 168 since surgery and at least 223 pounds overall. I have not made the goal weight that I had for myself at the beginning of this year, and I'm still 219 pounds, but I now realize that I truly don't care. I'm healthy, happy, and I don't hate the way I look in the mirror. Everything that comes after this is just gravy.

Getting ready to have three of my granddaughters come spend the night with me......Happy Grandma!

Unemployed again - twice in 1 year - at least it was my choice this time. I have prospects and won't be out of work long this time but still sort of wish I could eat a giant bag of potato chips or a pint of ice cream. Yes I know that doesn't help long term.... Ready to give up adjulting for the week!

I am doing great following my brachioplasty that was completed yesterday. Today the pain is worse and of course lots of swelling but holy cow are my arms tiny! Even swollen! It makes me excited for the next phase which will be tummy and breasts 3 months from now.

T.G.I.F. !!!! this weekend my husband turns 49, looking forward to celebrating HIM!
