Good songs to work out to...

I have to admit I stumbled across these by accident. I was looking at the nikeplus.com site. I'm a gadget geek and love the idea of integrating my ipod and some device in my shoe that tracks my workout. I don't have a nano though so I'm out of luck. I did start looking at the celebrity trainer playlists on their site which are all housed on itunes.com. Here is essentially the different paths that led me to workout mixes on itunes. For all, start at the itunes music store and click on Music. In the box, More in Music... 1. itunes Essentials. search "workout" These are probably my favorite mixes of them all...a real variety but some have way too many songs which drives up the price. These other categories work the same way...just search on "workout", "yoga", etc. 2. Nike Sport Music 3. itunes Collections 4. imixes I always watch the upper right side when I get search results to see what others are buying or playing. That has led me to the Power Workout in the Pop music section for instance. Hope this helps.

    December Bandsters in January!

Hi, December Bandsters! It's great to find the thread. Over the next few days I'll go back to the original posts to get to know you all a little better (and to do my ticker and stats!). It's great to see the info on the fills...nice to know what to expect. I also didn't think about the pills. I've been swallowing whole for a couple of weeks but forgot I need to rethink that once I have a fill I'll be curious to hear what others have to say. Finally, has anyone tried the newer body composition scales? I just saw them this weekend...in addition to body fat and weight, they report Water composition, muscle mass, and bone mass. I'm really just curious to track the water. I'm curious how well they work. Both were from Homedics...one marketed by them and the other by Tony Little through HSN. If you've tried it or have any information, I'd love to hear from you.

Good songs to work out to...

I've been going through the imixes on itunes. I haven't downloaded any total mixes but there are a lot of workouts (both by individuals and guided mixes with professional trainers and athletes). At this point, it has just given me some ideas on songs to include in my playlists. A bit embarassing, but my old standby workout mix is Rick Springfield Greatest Hits. It reminds me of some younger years so, in addition to a pretty good pace, it always puts a grin on my face. :nervous
  6. I just found this website and am so glad. I'm at 4 weeks too. I have a checkup on Tuesday but my doc doesn't usually fill until 6 weeks. I'm not that hungry but I don't ever feel full either so I've been slipping at the portion control, food log, etc. and am worried I'm messing things up. I'm still on pureed phase and struggling with all milk-based things. I'm getting my Water in but struggling with the Protein so I'm very tired all the time. I felt really great in weeks 1 and 2 so the last two weeks have been depressing. Knowing that this stage will pass and is relatively normal has really picked me up. And I have LOTS of questions for my appointment Tuesday. :paranoid
