Hi, I didn't have this with my incinsions from Dr. Kelly but I did when I had my hysterectomy and I clipped them myself.. I just cleaned nail clippers with alchol and made sure everything was clean.. Maybe you could see your Primary doctor and they would take care of them..but I think they will be fine... Angela

Hi, I completly understand.. But what if you die from being overweight? The last thing I remember before I went to sleep was wiping tears because I was crying.. I had gone to MX (Dr. Kelly) alone.. I had no one.. I did fine and am early out but I think this is the best thing I have ever done for myself.. I am a married mom to 3 one of which has Down Syndrome so I had alot to think about but I have to take care of her for the rest of my life and was not doing a very good job at it because of my weight.. I was always so tired.. I also had lapband and hated it.. I vomited every time I ate or drank. Good Luck and relax.. Take a deep breath.. Angela

Hi, I just had surgery with Dr. Kelly on 7/13 and I think it is necassary that you stay 2 days at Lucerna.. They come visit you at the hotel.. I am not sure how far it is from the hospital that the surgery is performed at but when you leave the hospital you go to another hospital to have a leak test and it is 2 blocks from that hospital.. Hi, I was just sleeved by Dr. Kelly (7/13). It is a hospital and you stay 2 day in hospital and 2 days in hotel..If you book your surgery with him he actually does it.. He was even at my bedside when I woke up.. It is not far at all from the border but you do travel through a poor looking part.. It took maybe 20 mins at the longest.. I hope this helps as far a Dr. Aceves I can't comment.. Angela

Hi, I am Angela I am scheduled with Dr. Kelly on 7/13.. I will be flying in San Diego on the 12th and then picked up the next morning for surgery.. I also booked with Sandy so yes my deposit went to Bravo Development..I am having a revision from band... My band was removed in 2008 but the still consider it a revision..I am coming from SC.. I am sure we will cross paths during this... Angela

Hello, I live in the Three Fountains or West Columbia near the airport... It is good to hear from someone close by.. I really do not recommend the band.. I vomited every day from the time I had my first fill until the day it was removed 2 yrs and 1 month later.. I did lose 150+lbs but have gained all of it back plus some... Hi, I am from SC and will be having sleeve surgery in Mexico with Dr. Kelly on 7/13.. Do you mind me asking what area you live in and what dr? I had lapband done in 2006 in Mexico and had an emergency removal in 2008 because it had slipped and I had let it go long enough I was already have kidneys and other organs to shut down.. Dr. Givens in Columbia removed it and has already told me he would take care of me after this trip to Mexico.. He says he understands that I just can't front the money to have him to do it.. Well folks I still need prayers... I have yet to get my return and the IRS can not give me a reason... This is BS... I call every other day and nothing after the initial 30 days they send a message to a different dept. and say to give it another 30 days... That was on 3/25 so I am in waiting... I have talked to Sandy and She is waiting until 4/8 to hear back from me... I just really need prayers.. This has gotten me so down that I am not wanting to get out of the bed.. I am a mother of 3 (son is 15 and twin girls 10) also 1 of my daughters has Down Syndrome and needs extra care.. I have got to get healthy so I can take care of her.. My mother in law lives with us and takes care of the things I can't.. helping her bath and stuff... But that is my job.. PLEASE KEEP ME IN YOUR PRAYERS.. Angela

Please pray for me... This all starts in 2006 I had lap band lost 150lbs but was so sick the entire 2 yrs.. It was removed in 2008 when I gave in to my body shutting down.. It had slipped... now I have gained 165lbs back and I am trying to get vsg..yes I understand it was my fault to haved gained all the weight back but at the time I had alot of stress in my life and gained instantly 30lb in fluids the 2 days I was in the hospital when the band was removed.. I was starving to dealth... now I was getting enough money back on taxes to get the vsg and have an appointment for 4/18 with Ramos Kelly... well that said.... I got a letter that my taxes are delayed for further checking... I don't owe anything but my understanding there is problems with my income.... PLEASE PRAY THIS GETS CLEARED AND I GET MY MONEY AND GET MY SURGERY.... THANK YOU FOR YOUR PRAYERS Angela

Hi, I can total relate... I was banded in 2006 at 282 lbs and did pretty good..Lost down to 132 but most of that was due to me being so sick and my band had slipped up and I had no pouch left so everything I ate or drank came up.. I let it go so long that I was totally shutting down.. I finally went and had to have an emergency removal was told I wouldn't have lasted a couple more days... all that said here I sit with an appointment to have the sleeve in April at 298... So I can relate to the major back slide and how you feel... Hang in there and keep your head up... Angela
