    This is my Bandiversary month!!! Chop Chop for me! Name, real or screen~ Kim Goal weight for May 29th~ 219 Weight on May 1st~ 228.3 Age~39 Dietary goal for April~Limit sweets and carbs, stick to 1200 cals a day Exercise goal for May~ Exercise 6 days a week Date banded~ May 25, 2011 Total weight loss since banding/pre op diet~ 55lbs but have been fluctuating in the 220's. What is your favorite flower~Don't really have one but I think Cali Lilly and pretty!
  6. Does anyone do electrical work. My bathroom outlet doesn't work and needs to be replaced. I also want to add electrical outlet so I can get an over the range microwave. I was quoted $200 including supplies. Is this a reasonable price?

    Full Body Detox

    Has anyone done a full body dextox after lapband? I want to try one but Im afraid. I know my body is holding on to alot of stuff and I was thinking this would be a good solution.

    Help

    I know what you are going through. I started out at 276 and have been bouncing between 222-226 for the past 4 months. It's because I am not as strict. I won't give up. Each day is a learning experience. My weakness is sweets. I have to battle the earge daily. Yesterday I failed but today I will conquer. Take on each day and don't focus on the whole picture. I have 1 month till my bandiversary and my goal is to lose 6 lbs. You can do it! Its hard but get back on the journey. You don't have to be perfect. Just put forth a little more effort.
  9. Saw a snake by my mail box yesterday and now I'm afraid to take Ethan outside. Gonna get some moth balls and snake away. Am I on the right track? Or am I over reacting?

  10. So much for eating what I wanted over the holiday weekend. Back to the grind with perfect eating and tons of exercise to lose it. So not worth it the binge. Memorial day beware. You will not trip me up! Thanks for letting me vent.
  11. Good luck! Last year I joined a gym and attended several classes each week. I did zumba, cardiovascular dance and cardiovascular kickboxing along with walking. This year I joined Jazzercise and I am hooked! I love going and it doesn't seem like a chore. I go 4 days a week.
  12. I have pcos and was banded may 25,2011. I have lost 53lbs. So far it has helped my health. I only see a cardiologist yearly and my A1C went from 6.5 to 5.4. My bp is normal and I went from 22-24 to 16. It's been worth it but very hard. You still have to make good food choices and exercise a lot. If you don't then the weight will not come off. My nutritionist says I'm doing excellent because most pcos bandster lose an average of only 30lbs. I'm glad I didn't know this before surgery and I definetly beat the odds. Good luck! You can do it

  14. Oh and no luck with facial hair or regular periods. I am getting laser treatments. It painful but effective.
  15. I have pcos. I was banded may 2011 and weighed 276lbs period. Now I weigh 223. It's been a tough road but my doctor and nutritionist say I'm doing great. I exercise 4-5 days a week but right now I keep losing and gaining the same 5lbs. So frustrating. Good luck! Despite my plateau, I am very pleased. I went from wearing a 22-24 to a 16.
  16. Note to self: Never get your car inspected at the dealership. They failed my inspection because of wiped blades. Then tried to sale me some for $30. R U kidding me!!!!!!!!!!!

  17. The Mommy and me gym time at Jumping Jax jump house was awesome! Ethan had a great time and I did too! I had no clue I was gonna have to work out too. Looking forward to next week. My little man was pooped. He has been asleep since 12:15pm and its going on 3pm. Im gonna enjoy my free time while I can:)

  18. Ethan did great at daycare! He even took a 3 hour nap. That rarely happens at the Page resident. If your in the Smithfield area Sat morning. Dwaynes nursey is having breakfast with Easter bunny sponsored by Chick fil a and Easter egg hunt for toddlers at 9:30am and kindergarten and older at 10:30.     2 Years And Frusterated :(

    I think you should cut the carbs and limit the latte's to 1-2 times a week because they have alot of calories. Also see a nutritionist. She helped me get on track because I was eating more than I thought I was. Keep your carbs under 100 grams per day. Don't eat anything more 10 grams of fat at one time, exercise and drink lots of water. I have PCOS and I am 10 months in and down 54lbs. I am losing at a snails pace because of my hormones. If you too tight, you won't loose because your body is starving. Also for me, the band doesn't always curb my appetite. I wish it did but it doesn't. Good luck and.get moving!
  22. Little man coughed all night long. Off to urgent care we go at 8am. If the don't give him some steroids, then Wakemed here we come.

  23. My poor baby has the croup. Its so scary. He was runny around playing all day and coughed for 5-6 hours straight. The nights are no fun. He wakes up crying and eventually goes back to sleep. This has been going on for several days. Mommy is tired!

  24. I need some to assemble a swing set. Thomas said it will be Easter before he can get to it. Any takers?

  25. Just left Wakemed children's ED with Ethan Page. They treated him for Croup and Viral broncitis. I hope he sleeps and make up the 8hrs he missed.
