I haven't had surgerory yet. I want to have it, hoping my doctor will recommend, my appt. is tomorrow. Then I will have to see if my insurance will cover with my medical problems.
I have high blood pressure, high cholesteral, osteo arthiritus in back and hips and neck, just recovered from breast cancer.
I have battled with my weight for years, tried nutisystem, weight watchers and every diet under the sun. Now that I know my breast cancer could come back due to being overweight (I heard on the news that woman that are overweight have a 67% chance of breast cancer becoming fatal) it is impairative that I lose the weight. I lose a couple of lbs only to gain it back the next week plus another lb with it. This has been my cycle for the last two years. I just had surgery to remove my last ovary and now I am going thru menopause, so seems everything is stacked up against me. My joints hurt in my hips when I walk, so walking right now is not comfortable.
I have not been able to do it by myself and am desperate to get the weight off now to prevent reaccurence of my breast cancer. The cancer is estogen/progestern positive, and that is made by fat cells. Not to mention my overall health should benefit with the high cholesteral and pain in my back and hips. I think that excersizing will be less painful if the weight is off, therefore making it possible to keep fit and active. I will cross my fingers and hope for the best.
