    99 Pounds

    WOW! Congratulations!!

I ate chips and half a bagel. I'm worried!

I am six weeks out and recently tried the Saltine crackers and they dont bother my sleeve. How about if you get your all your protein and have about 5 saltines? I am tracking all my calories on myfitnesspal and always stay way under under 1,000 calories with the rule of protein first. Do you think it would become a problem in the future if I continue to allow crackers?

Gastric Sleeve Surgery At Ucla ?

@ apebrown - He would not even schedule me a surgery date until I lost another 10 pounds. He is so strict! Make sure you lose what he asks and dont mess around. I kept the weight off. He does not have much of a personality, but did a good job. They have a great team of nurses, anethesiologist, etc. You need to ask for apple juice (they do not just give it to you) as you get into the last day, it helps to pass gas. You are not alowed to leave until you do. Make sure you bring a robe to put over the hospital gown and slippers - you take alot of walks. Please ask if you have any other questions:)
  5. Amazing! You look fantastic!!

    Urinary catheter anyone?

I did'nt even know I had one in after surgery. When they took it out I felt nothing. Not to worry:)
  7. You might want to try Isopure ready to drink - zero carb (It is not a Protein shake -its like a Koolade). They have 40 grams of protein and not carbs. I like the grape ones:) I get mine at GNC Isopure Website

    Low Carb?

Hi Foxbins...When did you start eating steak?
  11. It will be two weeks since my surgery this coming Friday. I am starting to add soft foods and am planning on keeping it low carb. Do you feel there is more success when you follow a strict Low Carb diet? What are some of your favorite low carb foods? Thanks:)

    Low Carb?

AnneG...Thanks for this information. I have always did well on low carb, but seemed to fall back to the dangerous white carbs. Now with the sleeve, I feel it will not be a problem as we can only eat so much. I want to make sure I get all my protein and low carb is the best way.

What is your favorite Crock Pot Recipe?

I love the Slow Cookers BBQ Pulled Pork. I eat it alone, but hubby and kids have it on buns. If you look in the spice section of the store you will find slow cooker packets (like the taco mix). It comes with all the spices and instructions. I buy the crockpot bag inserts to save on the mess... Reynolds Crock Pot Bags Slow Cookers BBQ Pulled Pork Seasoning Slow Cookers Beef Stroganoff Seasoning Slow Cookers chicken Noodle Soup Seasoning Slow Cookers Chili Seasoning Slow Cookers Hearty Beef Stew Seasoning Slow Cookers Italian Herb Chicken Seasoning Slow Cookers Savory Pot Roast Seasoning Slow Cookers Vegetable Beef Soup Seasoning Crockpot mixes with bag.pdf
