hey 2 all.. i'm reading all these posts.. Lesley1971...u have great words 2say... i go for my 1st fill july 25th &hoping i have some restriction.. right now i'm just doing this on my own.. although i find myself overeating at times...ugghhh..sometimes i 4get i have this device in my stomach...my biggest fear is trying 2 stick 2 a low calorie diet. i hear so many scary stories about what happens after ur fills.. to b honest,i feel like i'm starving myself right now...just hoping i made the right choice...too late 2 turn back now.

Hey & yes welcome....I was just banded & so far so good.. although i'm starting 2 get hungry.. i just wonder what will happen next after i move on to mushies & solid foods.....i hope the weight keeps coming off. i've been reading stories of failing & i'm getting nervous... i havent had a fill yet still in my 1st week of surgery...HELL ITS HARD NOW..fighting these hunger pains off. good luck. & RACHEL412 U R A GREAT SUPPORTER...U SEEM 2 HAVE IT ALL...I LUV UR SUPPORT & HONESTY

Hello all, ok i'm now 4 days post-op (banded june16th)..Since yesterday i have been noticing my bowels. i'm running 2 the restroom everytime i drink a protein shake. its like diarrhea..i'm worried since i haven't been taking my vitamins since surgery.. can anyone help me out plz. is this a bad sign something is wrong?

hello everyone..so i got banded on the 16th..i must say i'm feeling great right now. Didn't have too much pain or gas..i was scared at first 2 drink anything,but nowits day4post op & i can seem 2 tolerate a little more liquids than b4... I lost 12lbs pre-op.. yeah water weight but it feels so good. i started exercising already (walking for 30mins).. i'm ready for this journey. i have my 1st doctors visit friday 24th let see what happens then...

Hi all.. ok my surgery is in 5 days. i'm now doing the 1st day of the 5 day liquid diet.STARVING! CRYING!ANGRY! I'm all alone with this decison i'm making. my weight has been a rollercoaster. kinda like Oprah.ha! so many stories have been good but some discouraging. i'm looking for encouragement @ this point. its only day 1 of liquids & i'm breaking down like a baby. i know this is what i want to do,but don't know if i can stand it. honestly, i've been a weed smoker for over 15yrs..(only 30).i'm having the hardest time letting go. so many things r running through my head. the process has moved quickly say 2 months. going thru apptments & approved within days of my last apptment. just scared

hey,i'm getting banded on the 16th which is Thursday.. so my doc puts me on clear liquids 5 days pre op.. can i add skim milk to my shakes now? or does this have 2 wait after surgery.. the water mixed with the whey protein is disgusting,but i drink it.. any suggestions on tasty protein shakes?

I tried & tried... but i cheated on the 1st day of my 5 day liquid diet (prior surgery)...Will this have a big effect when its time for my surgery? I need some encouragement.not sure if i can do this.:cheated:
