I like color and lots of it. Art makes me think differently and embrace new things. Music provides a soundtrack for my life. I don't like sauerkraut (thanks cardinal)... it's just not so good. I do love to cook and I am fantastic at it. I like people and sharing thoughts and ideas and stories - I think we learn a lot from each other that way. I've lived in Texas all of my life and am to the point that I want to branch out and explore that big bad world out there. I love kids. I think we should take a lesson from them and adopt their outlook. I am nothing, everything, something and more - I'm just me. You be you.

Future and faith. Concerts with friends. Fighting for the under-dog. Standing up for what's right. Learning more every single day. Holding my arms open for life. Patience. This very moment.

What makes me smile: Random acts of kindness make me smile. Like paying for the person's coffee behind me in the line at Starbuck's. Going out of my way to help a friend in need. A puppy - riding a horse or fast car. Whispering in someone's ear. A good "inside" joke. A good "outside" joke. My children crack me up. Catching someone else singing to a song that I'm singing. Clean sheets. My Garden. A content sigh.
