Finally starting to get used to my band, I went through hell and back, just received a fill a couple weeks ago and I felt like they took fluid out but I'm wondering if my body is just getting used to band but it's me and my eating habits that I need to control but everything is good believe I'm in green Zone and losing around 3-4lbs a week!!!

St wt. 349, curr wt 267 goal wt 189! My fills seemed like they were not working but when I go to dr I'm always right where I should be or beyond! Sometimes it's ur noggin I believe. I'm used to eating anything and everything but slowly I'm getting better. We must remember we ARE allowed to make mistakes and again YOU,EVERYONE is allowed this. Sometimes look at the bigger picture not just the scale, remember also you took the initiative to do this life changing surgery! That alone Is great! I would be happy to answer questions if any come my way! I'm a 29 yr old male from Texas, toolpusher for a great company! You can only imagine the work if your a big guy when I was roughnecking, it was tough. Post on this topic because when I reach my goal not if but when I want to look back and know I struggled through this. It's what makes you whom you are! Everyone have a safe and happy new years!!!

how many calories is safe and will allow proper weight loss? i am working out 30 mins each day and eating about 750-950 calories a day and weight is coming off slowly too slow i think less than a lb a week, i know you want to lose slowly but i dont want to lose this slow, myfitnesspal.com says i should be getting in 2250 cals a day is this about right or do i up it to something like 1500 and see what i get from there any help would be appreciated and i have lost 78 lbs and im about 80 from goal!! but i know i can tweak my program to get a lil more out of me, thanks for your comments and suggestions.

Im losing weight consistently actually started at 349 I'm at 276 in less than 5 months, but recently I've been getting hungry between meals more often faster more fiercely. I went to dr and had fill under fluoroscope, and doc said she added .5 cc I feel like she took 5 cc out!! I know she didn't but that's how I feel, have any of you ever recieved a fill and felt less restriction than you did before u went in? Any comments or suggestions are appreciated. I have 14 cc band with approx. 8.9-9cc. Thanks guys

It's ur body and ur responsibility but yeah the negativity does get old but everyone is in it to lose so just bite that tongue and move on. It's simple u don't follow the rules most of the time it's not gonna give u awesome results work out a little it will make u see results fast,on a good note I have never taken my kids for a walk but yesterday they all took their bikes and we had a hell of a time in the hot park but u know it felt great!!!

Ur welcome!!! -
I was banded on June 7,2011 and to me it seems by eating 3 times a day is helping more than eating 6 times a day I lost 21 lbs after surgery but then gained 6 after I went back to reg foods, but this morning I've started to see my weight coming on down like a contestant on the price is right!!! I'm happy I'm excited, though I haven't had my first fill yet but I'm ready! Everybody is different, one thing I would stress to y'all folks having a rough time, it gets better and better u WILL adjust always remember the days off the money spent and the heart to even get the surgery is because u want to better ur self, if something don't work for u and it worked for someone on this forum just remember we are all different pay attention to YOUR body and u will be just fine, I go in for a fill on July 5, and I can't wait! I can eat anything but in moderation, I sometimes see food and think damn Im hungry,so I drink dome water or a protein shake and bam!!! I'm all good. I'm 29 yrs old and have had some ups and downs but finally feel like there is light at the end of the tunnel, and yeah some of u guys might say u still have a long road ahead of u. I feel like I'm driving on that road just taking in the scenery! Any of u guys have any questions bout surgery don't hesitate to message me, I was lucky to have 2 buddies that had the surgery with tremendous success!!!
