I am so frustrated I had the sleeve on Jan 17th and I stay hungry....any suggestions!!! I want to succede but now I feel like it was useless to have the surgery. I am 58 and not losing any weight. I feel like I am just lost. Ant suggestions?

I would like to know if anyone else has drank water or tea while eating? Does it stretch your pouch out? I cannot eat without sipping water.

I was sleeved on Jan 17th and I am still hungry. Why do I still want to eat? I do not get full and I still want to snack. What can I do I am so frustrated. I am not losing. Did I do this for nothing??? Please I need ideas.

I feel the exact same way. I feel like everyone else is losing alot faster than me. But I am 58 so I guess that is one of the reasons. So just hang in there.

I feel the same I had my sleeve on 1/17 and I have only lost 28lbs. I see other people have lost alot more in shoter periods of time. But I am also 58 so age does have a bit to do with it. I will not give up although sometimes I wonder if I made the right decision. Good Luck!!!!

I an eat chicken in like chicken enchilidia soup. That way it is very small pieces and very moist. Chili's has the best soup.

It all sounds so good as I also get to start my mushies foods next week and I am so excited. Thank you all for all of the great ideas!!!!

I am needing suggestions. I was sleeved on Jan 17th and have not lost anything yet. I did have a bit of water weight when I got out of the hospital since I was in for 4 days and had an IV the whole time. But now the weight isn't coming off and I don't know why since I am on a liquid diet still. What am I doing wrong. This is very depressing.

Thank you all so much for the feedback. It really helps and I love this site. I will just concentrate on feeling better and will stay off of the scale.

I am in the Ft Worth area as well. Have you had your surgery? I used Dr David Kim and had my sleeve on Jaan 17th although I am having problems I have not lost any weight and becoming very frustrated.

I went for my 1st doctor visit today as I was sleeved on Jan 17th and had a few complications. I was on an IV for 4 days and I could not drink by mouth. So today when I went to have my 1st checkup I had gained 3lbs. I was in total shock. How could this be I have been on liquids for 4 weeks and gained 3lbs. The doctor explained to me it was just Water weight due to the IV. I am so frustrated and hope I made the right choice. I have not done anything that I shouldn't have and I want this to work. Need suggestions please.

I have been on liquids for 4 weeks now and have 2 to go. My doctor requires 3 weeks before and 3 weeks after all liquids. I am doing what he told me . I had my surgery on Jan 17th. It may be ok but I am not brave enough to do what he tells me not to do. Good Luck.

Hello everyone, I am new here and just had my sleeve done on Jan 17th. I had a few issues so had to stay in the hospital for 3 nights. I am doing better but my tummy is still swollen. I have not gotten on the scale yet because I don't think I have lost anything yet. But I am very glad I had this done and know I will have a good outcome. I have fought my weight problem my whole life and I am hoping I have found the solution. I know this is a whole new why of life and I am ready for it.

The issues I had were nausea. And I was not able to get rid of the gas. My tummy is still pretty swollen. I feel much better will be glad when Tues gets here to have my staples taken out. I was also up walking the first day after surgery. But it may be my age also as I am 58 and I think that could be why I was a little slower to feeling better. But I my now on my way to a new me. I am having the same problem I have only been able to drink one Protein drink this week. And I am having trouble drinking enough. It just feels like it gets stuck right at the top of my tummy. What am I doing wrong. I want this to be a sucess. Surgery done on Jan 17th by Dr. David Kim.
