Hello my name is Desera,  I have been thinking about having the lap band surgery for a couple of years now. Well, as of March 2011 I saw Dr. Eldridge here in OKC for a consult and from that point on that is all I have been able to think about. His office submitted a claim to my insurance to see if they would cover it and about two weeks later I got the call that they want me to see a dietitian for six months and have a eval with a psychologist. At this point I have already done three months with the dietitian and I am having my eval the end of this month. 
I am very excited about having this surgery done. I have a great support team and my husband is the best man alive. He is just as excited as I am about it.
