I am scheduled for 11/18. They were going to submit everything last Wednesday (10/6). She said that approval can take anywhere from 1 to 3 weeks, so I am going to wait until next week to call them and see if they have the approval yet. As long as everyting is approved, the 18th is it.!! I am scheduled for the weight loss class on 10/27. I CAN'T WAIT!!

Went to the phys. yesterday. Didn't seem real hard to convince her that I needed the sleeve. Basically told me it was a great tool and I'd love it. =) That was easy.lol Have you got your date yet?

I know. I called the insurance today because I'm scared they are gonna tell me they don't pay. My weight-in with Dr. Mason is on Wednesday. Keep in touch with me. It's nice to have someone here in Aggieland to talk to.

It's like I told the psychologist, I'm not interested in loosing the weight so I look good, I'm a single mom and I would like to be here when my girl graduates HS and goes to college or decides to have babies of her own. So if I can loose enough to more active and heathier, thats good for me. But I know that with has much as I need to loose, there is no way I can do it by myself. I am so excited to see what the surgeon says next week!!

I'm sure you'll do great! Maybe once you get the 60-70% off you'll feel good enough to do all of the excerise to get the rest off. =) Stay positive. I have lost 6 lbs just by reading the info on this web site and thinking about what I put in my mouth. So if I can do that, I can't wait to get the sleeve. I need to loss at least 90. But I'm shooting for 105.

Wow. It went pretty fast then. I was hoping to have it done by Christmas. But, If not, I will be happy anyway. I just want to get it done ASAP. If you don't mind me asking.... How much do you have to lose?

I went for my first visit on 8/4 and then did 2 follow ups about a month apart. Then I did the psychologist and nutritionist. I have my appointment with the surgeon on the 6th to see if they have all of the paperwork that they need to submit for approval. I can't wait.
