I have struggled with my weight since I was around 7 or 8 years old. I was often taunted and teased by, not only my peers, but my family. I've tried every diet known to man and after my 3rd try at Phentermine, prescribed by my doctor.... I said to myself, I'm only going to gain this weight right back, just as I had the other 2 times. I've been able to loose weight, but keeping it off has always been a challange. What's the definition of insanity? Doing the same thing over and over and over again, only to get the same results. I needed something permanant. I decided to go with the lap band because I felt like the results would be permanant being that it can be adjusted. My insurance doesn't cover it so I borrowed it from myself thrrough my 401K...lower interest rate and in the end.. I'll have my money back and be smaller.
