Rhonda's journey

I am 47 years old,live in Hamilton.I have started this new journey because I have struggled all my life with being overweight.In 2009 I requested to have gastro bypass surgery. It took me almost three years with all the denials from the medical field.I then got denied for the very last time,and had the fear that it would never happen to me.Its been a long road for me and having the struggle each day to be able to walk and do things on my own.I just wanted to have my dream and it be real.I came home and researched Lap band on my computer.I notified the cibo clinic to see if they had any openings to come and see what they were all about.I was very amazed with the founder Tom Saridis with his weight loss and thought I had nothing to loose.There was no turning back after seeing great results.I signed up for the surgery that very same day.I was scheduled to have my surgery on May 2/2011.I was on a brand new Journey with my weight loss.I lost 14 lbs on my pre-op diet.I have lost inches and feel the best I have in the past 7 years.I have been struggling with fibromialga,arthiritis in both my knees,and stuggling with a cracked knee cap for three years.Since I have had my surgery and have lost weight ,I now am able to exercise and eat a healthier lifestyle.I feel great and hope to be successful with my weight loss Journey.I am looking forward to fit in my size 11 wedding dress& being a princess at my wedding on May 19th/2012.Its been my Dream to be a smaller person and will be able to live a happier life with my husband and my grand children.I hope my testimonial will encourage everyone to follow their dreams and never give up.I have had great support and I have to give my fiancee all my credit for paying for my surgery,I would have not been able to have this surgery without his support and his love for me.
