My name is Bonnie. I am a single mom to my son Cade who will be 4 this fall. My lapband journey started May of 2010, but I was in nursing school at this time and my insurance wasnt great. Since then, I have been working as a registered nurse on a cancer floor, which I absolutely love. And the insurance is everything I need for this surgery. My surgery date is June 21st; a date I will always remember! I am so excited that this is actually happening and thinking about the future for my son and I is so much more positive now.
