Hey everyone, its been 5 months, have lost 50 lbs, need to lose 20 more and feel a little frustrated because I'm feeling so restricted that I can't eat anything solid, but not losing weight. I DO lose weight , however, when I eat something high calorie that stays down, like ice cream. I know I can't live on ice cream alone, thats how I got fat in the first place. Any suggestions?

Two days post surgery, not as easy as I had hoped it would be. Ended up in ICUwith some complications/ O'm home now and am beginning to start my life (new). Good luck to both of us!

Hey DawnK, my surgery is scheduled tomorrow at 7:30 AM. I'm pretty sure I won't be getting much sleep tonight. Good luck with yours and let me know how it went.

LOL - you didn't give me a second to put in a picture. My lapband is scheduled for tomorrow morning. I'm excited and a little nervous. I want to get support because I know this isn't a panacea, its a tool and I take this very seriously.
