I'm ready and waiting to go, but the doctor says I need to gain 10 to 15 pounds or to be diagnosed with sleep apnea, high blood pressure or diabetes. I have mild hypertension, but not enough for the insurance to kick in. So far, no diabetes which is good. I went for a sleep study on 5/31, but the techs said I slept only 4.5 hours and they needed 5. I have a follow up appointment with the sleep doctor the first week of July. I am miserable trying to gain more weight in order to have weight loss surgery. My triglycerides are through the roof at 379. I'm becoming very despondent over the delays and the need to become unhealthier in order to get healthier. Any suggestions? Words of advice?
