    TALKING ABOUT SEX

I beg to differ! Jim please don't encourage this childish behavior! I wish one of the monitor would close this mess! What the hell does this have to do with the lap band, why don't you ladies start a personal conversation.
  2. I just recieved my first fill today and my surgeon put in 2cc's. My surgery was 8/11/11. He also advised that if I feel that I need another fill call the office in a month and schedule an appointment. I see now that my surgeon is a slow boogey type of guy.

    bandster hell.....

I will be 7 weeks this Thursday and still going thru "bandster hell". Sure can't wait for it to pass. Goshhhh!!!
  4. It seems to take a lot longer to eat, and I do see people looking at me like why are you still eating,,,,especially when they want to get up and go and I'm still sitting there chewing everything slowly. That's what I am concerned about only 2 people know about my lapband and I know that some are going to think why in the heck is she still eating. I just received my first fill today and have always been a fast eater, so pretty soon someone is going to take notice. My doctor never gave me specifics on time he simply said to make sure I eat really slow.

    TALKING ABOUT SEX

I thought this post was interesting until the members started getting sensitive and the topic starter getting defensive. The mentioning of God, black vs. white penis size, etc. was ludicrous. Honestly do not believe that anyone said anything that was considered harsh or to belittle. I have read some harsh comments and this was no where near close to that. The 2nd question was extremely vague........upon reading I said "What the hell?" I would have never guessed gag reflex from the way it was worded. Just like some of you said that if you are not interested or want to be harsh to move on........ok that's fine but what is the point of going tit for tat (back and forward for those who don't know) negatively with members, just read the post that you find informative. One more thing in my opinion anything related to lapband (port placement, sex with lapband etc) should be asked to your surgeon (the expert). You should feel comfortable asking him anything, hell you feel comfortable enough to let this person give you incisions, use instruments in side your body, place a foreign object all while you have a machine breathing for you.

    Calling all A11s!!

Today has started off not so good..................First I start my morning by stepping on the scale and it reflected a weight gain of 3lbs since yesterday morning. I was devastated!!! From there everything started going downhill. I went in for my first fill (after the surgeon made me wait what seems like a year) and he only gives me a 2cc fill. When I first went in I told the nurse and surgeon that I hungry ALL the time. After he did the fill and told me how much he put in, he must have noticed my expression because he went to explain that he normally only give 1 1/2 cc on the first fill, but since I was hungry all the time he gave me a little more...........WOW thanks doc (sarcasm)!!!! And that if that does not do it and/or I am still hungry to come back for a fill in a month. Seems my "bandster hell" shall continue. I pray that I will be more optimistic tomorrow.

    Calling all A11s!!

I eat anywhere between 700 - 900 a day, there have been a couple days the where a I have eaten more. I am eating a nice size portions for the meals and decent to good calories. However I am struggling with proteins and water, so maybe if I can work harder at those it will help. I go for my first appointment for a fill on tomorrow, I will see how that goes. Thank you and I enjoy reading your posts on the forum.

  11. Hello, When I first entered my stats on MFP it calculated and gave my number to be high as well, including over 1600 in calorie intake daily. But you have the option to alter/change your goals, that's what I did, I lowered the calories intake and it will then recalculate your other numbers.

    Calling all A11s!!

Hello fellow A11ers, I just want to give an update. Like some of you all I as well have no restriction what so ever, can eat anything at any amount if I allow myself. Also I don't have to take itty bitty bites. I am really trying to slow my pace and bite sizes because I know it will create a problem whenever I do get restriction. I am hungry all the time. A short period after eating Breakfast I am think about lunch. Definately "bandster hell"!!!! Also ncgg-5 thank you for the very positive, encouraging post. Be Blessed!
  13. Defintely a dilema for me!!! I have short, relaxed, colored hair and have come to realize that I sweat really bad in my head when working out. When I am done the curls say find me! I have opt for getting a weave, but I am concerned that the tracks might come up quicker than most because I this point in time my hair is not long enough to grip for a sew in.

    productive burping

I am the same exact way. I can eat anything, at any speed, and and any size bite. Everything goes right on down. I really trying my best to get this under control, because I know the real deal breaker will be when I get a fill(s). I know if I don't nip this in the bud now it going to be a horrible situation.

    Lost 12lbs, can't tell!

You are doing a good job Marla, I was banded on 8/11/11 (almost a month after you) and we have the same exact numbers (start and current weight). I am a slow loser, if you keep it up you will be 100 pounds down in no time as well. Best wishes to you in your journey
  17. 1.) Wear and shop in the misses section. 2.) Ride rides at amusement park (can't fit the fun ones now). 3.) Do the sexy leg cross. 4.) See my waist line. 5.) Go to a restaurant and have room between the booth table and myself. ***Pretty sure there are many more these and the first that came to mind***

    Calling all A11s!!

Today is my 1 month bandiversary. I am doing ok. I am amazed at the amount of food I can eat. While I still eat between 700-900 calories a day, when I look at me plate I find myself saying this look like my first plate before banding (I say first because pre-band I would always go for seconds and sometimes thirds). I have read were some people are still eating a few ounces. Does this mean something?!?!?!?

    Lost 12lbs, can't tell!

LOL..........I'm laughing to keep from crying! But that what I was sporting today, the ever so famous muffin top. Dang I knew those capris was going to feel different, but I was surprised. I look in the mirror and said this is ridiculous and ok so where did the weight go.

    Lost 12lbs, can't tell!

Oh my goodness!! I was thinking the same exact thing. I have lost 18 pounds and can't notice a thing, yes the scale has gone down (slowly), but I still feel I am at the same weigh I started with. For example I got up this morning to go to the hair salon, and decided I was going to wear this particular pair of denim capris. Ok these capri has always fit me tight, so I figure I would be able to a least feel a tiny different...........................well put them on and NOPE........... same fit. I almost cried. Now I am by no means an expert/experienced but I think walking a mile 5 days a week is a good thing/exercise. I know my schedule is hecked as well.
