My surgery was June 8 surgery day I woke up in recovery w weird pain I wasn't ready for took my pain medicine and was fine day two was defiantly worse I had more gas pain but nothing crazy I felt very tired day two and napped alot day three I woke up with much less gas then day 1 and 2 not so much chest pain it was great to feel so much better by day 3 I'm so happy I can't wait to wake up tomorrow I hope I wake up feeling even better today I m so excited for this new life challenge I can't wait to see my results nd start to eat healthier and feel great

someone had asked me if i have to drain fluid after my surgery? shocking i didnt know the answer and completely forgot to ask my doctor. Is there some sort of post op draining of excess fluid or blood or something? nothing has ever been mentioned to me im curious my surgery is in 2 days and i dont see my doctor untill then im curious if anyone has had to do this THANKS !

MY SURGERY IS IN 3 DAYS, ITS JUNE 8 2011, I AM NOW STARTING TO GET NERVOUS I AM WELL PREPARED I AM VERY ANXIOUS BUT NOW I AM GETTING NERVOUS IVE BEEN READING A LOT OF ONLINE SUPPORT AND JUST A LOT OF THINGS ONLINE ABOUT THE BAND EVERY NIGHT I SIT HERE AND READ DIFFERENT PEOPLES STORIES I AM 18 YEAR OLD FEMALE, IVE BEEN OVER WEIGHT MY HOLE LIFE. I AM GETTING NERVOUS

my surgerys in two days, i know how you feel but you will do great hang in there

good luck hang in there you will do great, i know the feeling im still pre op my surgerys in 2 days but i want to eat what everyone else is eating i miss my carbs and i want them! but im hoping once im banded that changes :/ good luck youll be able to do it if its truely something you want, and im sure you do!
