hello my name is Vanessa and im 22 years old. i just got my lapband on the 23rd of May. it been 12 day since my surgury and i lost 17 pounds my first week. the reason i got the surgery was because i high blood pressure and bad sleep apena, and my doctor said if the dont lose weight i can have a heart attack before ther age of 23. and when he said that i got scared not only for me but for my son.i want to live and see my son grow up. when that happened i reasched the about the lapband. since i have my son it been so hard to lost weight and i i try everything that i can to lost it. i try many differnet diet pills and that didnt work. so i went to my last choose and that was weight lost surgery. i talk to my husband about it and he said im by ur side in whatever you pick. so i choose the lapband. one of the reason i choose the lapband because im still young and my husband and i are happening to have more childern in the furtuer. and the lapband was a good way to get healthy and still be able to have childen. sinice i got the lapband my blood pressure has a impove and it only been a week.
