Wow! So this is kinda crazy... I now have a sleeve date of January 24th! They started me on a very low calorie, high protein diet today and my pre-op appointment will be January 11th. Sounds like if I loose most of the 30 lbs I will be good to go! I can hardly believe it!

Wow! You are slimming down fast! Thanks for posting this. It is great to be able to see so many people having such success. I can't wait for my sleeve!

I think the "cleansing fast" idea is brilliant. I might use that myself!

Hi Middlesister: I am new here too - this is my very first post. I know exactly how you feel. I too, am missing out on so much of life because of my weight. I don't have a surgery date yet but hope it will be some time in January or February. My surgeon wants me to lose 10% of my weight first, but I am otherwise ready to go. I too, have moments of horror, wondering how it will turn out... is this the right thing to do?.... But I think it will help me get my life back. Anyway, I just wanted to welcome you to this forum and wish you much success. This forum has been a wonderful place for me to come to get answers to the hundreds of questions running through my head.
