Thanks for your comments. I am feeling better physically today, I am little bit down emotionally. I am not sure if I am mourning food or just bored period. My husband and I are empty nesters so most of our lesiure time we spend together is usuall going out to eat, I feel so bad for him now because he eats so many meals alone.

Hi I had my surgery on June 10th so I am 8 days post op. I am sitting here trying to figure out what is a good protein shake to buy. I have tried a couple and they are absolutely horrible. I went to GNC today and the shakes are so expensive. Can someone recommend a good affordable protein supplement?

I had a bad bout with nausea while in the hospital, I could not keep anything down. My doctor finally came by and changed my med from phenygrin to decutrim (ck spelling (a steroid). I am still feeling a little quesy but I just take a pepcid and it helps settle my stomach.

I had my gastric sleeve on Friday June 10th. I did okay with the exceptio of the nausea. I was so sick for two days because of the nause from the anthesia and the salavia secretion. My doctor gave me a different for the nausea and it finally went away. I am so afraid it will come back. Has anyone else experience this?

My surgery is June 10, just started my pre-op diet today. I was not sure if I should start the shakes today. All I was told was to eat a low/no carb diet that includes, meat, green veggies, eggs and cheese only. Does that sound about right to any of you or should I also start the protein shakes? -
