I had to switch from Nexium to Prilosec in the beginning. It made a world of difference. Also being hungry is not a bad thing. Just make sure to keep the right foods within arms length. I eat all day long. Everyone swears i eat more now that i am skinny. I always have somethng in my hand...Yogurt..Banana..Protein shake...it will get easier!

Yes I sure do!!! I had a tummy tuck and boobs and for once in my life feel sexy. I got the right size for me and i am thrilled. My surgeon talked me into going a little larger then i had in my head and he was so right! I had the skin so they look great and not 2 softballs on my chest! lol

When I was 160 pounds pre-weight gain I wore a 36C...went up to a 42DD at 294 pounds..Down to 138 pounds and was a 36A...Got implants and lift and now back up to 36C/D.. Wow the journey of my boobs! lol

There is a very small cafeteria at the hospital that takes US $. Also there is a chinese food place across the street that i was told is very good. I tipped the driver and my favorite nurse. She did not want to take it but i made her )

There are many beautiful places close to the airport. I would take a cab over to Mission Bay and walk around and enjoy the weather. Only like 5-6 miles from airport.

I get dizzy when i dont get enough fluids or low sugar. I am 2 years out...make sure you get your fluids in. Also when this happens I need to eat ASAP. I keep peanut butter crackers with me at all times.

Thank you all so much! I love to walk and jog. I have not been able to do much the last 2 month becasue of my plastic surgery. I watch my carbs and stay away from fried foods. Other then that I swear i eat more now then before the sleeve. My trick is to graze on good things all day so i am never starving so i dont make bad decisions!

Hi All, I am still doing great. Recovery will take up to 5 months. I am honestly seeing improvement from week to week. The cost of my surgery was 10K. He kept me in the hospital an entire week and really took great care of me. I am not going to lie..recovery is tough. it is so worth it in the end though. The incesions were not bad. it is where he ties the stomach muscles that it hurts. i have started walking/jogging again...not quite ready for ab workout yet )

Good morning all, I am heading out in less then a month to have my plastics done. Could someone help me with breast size? Everything I have read said that 70% of people that get implants wish they would have gone larger. So if I decide on a size I like..am i supposed to go up a size or two? Also for anyone that had surgery in Mexico - Since we do not go for a consult until the day before, Do they let you "play" with the implants for a while to pick your size? Thanks all!

I am curently in the hospital after having surgery with Dr. Bello in Mexicali. He is the awesome! I am so happy that I chose him! He is cautious, caring and an amazing surgeon!

Well Dr. Bello is Mexicali is wonderful!! I could not of had better care and already love my results! I know it will take a while for the final outcome but so pleased already. Never met a better more caring doctor ever! He did Lift w/ augmentation and tummy tuck with Lipo. I am still in the hospital and will head home on Tuesday.

I am having a Tummy Tuck w/ Lipo and A Breast Lift with Augmentation for $10K.

I am having plastics with Dr. Bello on November 12th. He works with Dr. Aceves (He performed my sleeve 1/5/11). Will be heading into Mexicali on November 11th! Flying into San Diego with my sister on Friday for a couple days of fun before surgery!

Has anyone gone back to Mexico after WLS? My passport has me before losing the weight. I asked a TSA and she said it would be fine but didnt look at it. To change the picture you have to pay another $120! Oh well I hope they let me back in!
