I live in Gainesville and my doctor charges 250.00 so I am thinking of going to the Roswell Fill Center. Are you all still happy with them?

I cannot eat bread or eggs. I stay away from chips because I can eat chips(at the mexican restaurant) and not feel full at all. I don't like ice cream. Even before the surgery if I ate cookies or cakes I get a migrane headache and feel lethargic so I stay away from them. Red meats get stuck also. I havent had fast food restaurant food in 2 yrs. Nuts, Pasta also get stuck. I have 3 daughters and because of my weight problems I have never kept junk food in the house about once per month I will let them have some junk food and on their birthday. I know they get tons of it at school so why bring it home too.

Isn't the fat in the nuts the omega 3 kind that is good for you? Some nuts are not bad but the whole can may be.

How much are you all paying for your fills? My doctor charges 250.00$ I know there is a place in Roswell that charges 155.00 after the initial fee of 299.00.

I slime when I eat too fast and it gets stuck

Hello I was banded on June 26 and lost 15 lbs between the pre op and after surgery and I am fluctuating between 203 and 206, after my last fill I went down to 200 from 205 and gained it back. I have had 4 fills. I have a 10cc band and : fill 1 3ccs fill 2 3ccs fill 3 1cc fill 4 1cc last month I have one more free fill and then I won't be getting anymore fills since I was quoted a monthly payment of 367$ per month and when I got my bill it was and has been for 590$ which cuts into my fill budget. I am so depressed I have not lost any weight these past 3 months. I am eating small portions I could exercise more but I should have lost at least 10 lbs by now. Also my doctor in his info packet that they would take care of gallstones or anything else while in there and they repaired a hernia and then charged me 1,297.00$, they send it to my insurance and still I have to pay 497$ so I won't be able to get a fill until I am done paying for my loan (at least 3 yrs). I am sooooo sad, depressed and frustrated. Right now this surgery was not worth it for me.

I would like to know how you are doing too. I had my surgery the day after you and right after surgery I lost 15 lbs and I am like at maintainance I went from 214 to 200 and I have gone up to 205 and back down to 203 and up to 205 again. I had 4 fills, I have a 10cc band and I am filled 8cc and I am just not loosing. I thought by now I would have lost at least 20lbs. I hope you are doing better than me.

OMG! Everytime I go to shop for my daughters it is a nightmare, my budget is Walmart and I spend a long time trying to find something decent. Last time I went to Target and found it not much better than walmart. Thank goodness my girls 8 and 6 yrs old are not fashion followers and wear what I give to them. I wish schools here had uniforms, may be this way kids will pay more attention to school and less to make school a fashion show. Very Frustrating!!

I am self pay. now they did a hernia repair while in the O.R. and then 3 months later they send me a 1,297.00$ bill for the hernia repair, my husband was not asked about it nor did I signed any papers where I gave them permision to do anything. So, I am not happy with them right now. Other than this it was all great.

What doctor was this? that is crazy! Like Roxi said find someone else.

nana port above your breast?! how strange! I wish mine was there sometimes I have soreness from my port being hit by my pants' waist. Glad you are doing good.

When was the last time you had a fill? How often did you get filled at the beginning? I had my first fill 8/6 and I am scheduled for another one 9/4. I think Iam still eating too much. I was self pay and the price includes 4 fills and after the 4 fills it costs 250$ per fill so I am hoping this next one is it and I don't haveto go back for a long long time.

I have that problem. This week it felt too loose so I adjusted it and now it a bit tight. It looks like is tighter than it feels.

Ok so my band holds 10ccs, I just had my 2nd fill and my band has 6 ccs in it. In the next 2 fills I will get 1 cc each for a total of 8 ccs, all they have left is 2 more ccs and my band will be filled to capacity. What is going to happen as I loose weight? they can't fill it more than 10 ccs!
