Bobby - So so sorry you are having to go through this. I know how tempting a radical change can be when faced with a lot of adversity. I agree with Marie - you have to be able to maintain your relationship with your daughter. I wonder if there was some sort of event that triggered her advice about your wife? Perhaps there is a little more that your daughter isn't saying? If this is the only issue between you and your wife, perhaps you two can get to the bottom of it and work it out. If you were already feeling unhappy about things that cannot be changed, perhaps moving on is a good idea. Good relationships are hard to come by, and the grass is NOT always greener, so I always hope that people try to work things out with the ones they love before deciding to move on, but sometimes moving on is the only right choice. Wishing you all the best, and hoping you are able to come to a decision that brings you peace.

Of course I will let you know if any of the specks are gold, but Chris has to understand that if it IS gold, it is a very teeny tiny amount. He found some more specimens bearing the silver ore like the ones you already saw. We did not stay too much longer after you left - it was hot, and we needed to get back. Luckily, traffic was not as bad as I feared, and we arrived at 9:45pm, so all worked out perfectly!

The boa was a gift from my gay boyfriend back in 1984 or so. I was an aspiring opera singer, and he decided I needed to work on my image - hence the boa. I have dragged that thing around with me ever since - it's lived in Montana, New York, New Jersey, Texas, Germany, Georgia and California. I have used it twice - once for my promo photos, and once for halloween in TX where I played a flapper. It is time for it to have a new and loving home, where it does not get shut up in a box for years on end. Love it well, Penni!! It holds a little piece of my heart... I will always love that gay boyfriend...

Ah.... **sniff** Memories... Girls, it was such a blast to meet everyone! I can't believe it was all over so quickly! Lisa - a bizillion thanks for your wonderful hospitality, your generous spirit, your going above and beyond (and beyond, and beyond!) all weekend, taking on this huge task of making such a wonderful weekend for us all. I love your home, I adore you and Chris for taking us to Cerbat - John is STILL glowing about all the silver minerals he found. One piece even has flecks of gold that he can't wait to test on a streak plate... No nuggets, but he is one happy camper, for sure. He can't wait to go back and spend a couple days in those localities. I did not get to talk to anyone nearly enough - but I loved touching base with each and every one of you. Megan - I feel like you're one of those people carrying around a missing part of me. I could have talked with you for hours. Ginny - Girl, you are just too huggable! Penni - boa story to come in the not too distant future. Take good care of that thing - I could never do it justice. Leatha - You are too adorable! I didn't get a chance to talk with you hardly at all!! (of course, that's true of almost everyone... ) Karen - fabulous to meet you. Again, wish we'd had more time to talk.
