  1. Been about a year since we both had our surgeries, thought I'd check in. Last few months the weight loss has slowed, but admittedly that's also because of bad habits sneaking in, however after 51 weeks the numbers are; started at 454lbs. down to 262lbs, a loss of 192lbs.

  2. Yeah, pretty much whatever I want. There are certain things however I avoid as they're too dense or expand in the stomach. Good example would be potatoes, have to be mashed or already soaked in gravy to make sure they're soft enough, otherwise they'll fill me up too quickly.

  3. Wow! I bet you feel so much better. That is awesome! Are you able to eat what you want?

  4. Just to let you know, down 80lbs now.

  5. Sounds like you are dropping the weight pretty quickly! The weight doesn't seem to be "melting" off of me but I am grateful for what I have lost. I feel "normal" now and really feel fortunate that this ride so far has been picture perfect. Take care!

  6. Wow it sounds like you are doing GREAT! You already get to eat soft foods?? You are so lucky. Your weight loss is excellent. Take care!

  7. Well after 10 days I'm back to work, 10 kilograms (22lbs) lighter and already onto soft food.

Doctor said I've bounced back quick, and other than the odd bit of diarrhoea when I eat something I shouldn't - doing fine.

Feel better than when I went in already.

  8. Oops Codger, just noticed that you let me know how you are doing on my profile page. Every day gets better, I promise!

  9. Okay Codger, you have to give me an update so that I can quit stalking you :)

  10. Hi there, thanks for the words of support. Other than diarrhoea every couple of hours, I'm doing fine.

  11. Hope that you are recovering smoothly. Every day gets better.

    Holly

  12. Hope that you are doing alright!

    Calling all May Sleevers!

Alright guys, I'm heading in tomorrow to do mine. I'm starting out at a rather hefty 60+ BMI, so I've got a long way to go.
  14. Welcome to VST forums Codger :)
