we sold out house a few months ago (too quickly) and lived in a hotel for two months. We eat out just about every night. I found that there is always something you can eat and it was fun for awhile lol. I even found some appetizers to be ok but you need to ask about the calories. I agree with the soup if you are getting stuck but you need to be eating things that you can chew chew chew. hugs

Who had problems with sagging skin after weight loss?
lassie replied to labwalker's topic in The Guys’ Room
have the sag arms and the tummy sag also, trying to work it out but not successful. I am 65 so it could be age or bad genes lol Hope I do not have to do surgery as my insurance will not pay for it. -

I have worn glasses all my life. Last weekend I decided to go shopping for some new clothes as mine are getting a wee bit baggy. I took about three different sizes into the dressing room to try on as I was not sure what size would work. I had on a new top and pants when I looked in the mirror and saw this skinner person looking back at me. My first thought was I wished I looked like that with my glasses on, so I started looking for my glasses on the bench when I realized I had them on the whole time. The tears started flowing and I felt so good. Hugs.

Signs that you need a fill?
lassie replied to HYAC's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
If you are getting stuck you do not need a fill. If you are losing about a pound a week you do not need a fill. These are my doctors guidelines for me hugs -
An't it funny.... How things work out.

Boy this is close to home. It took me three times with the insurance company to get approved. The doctor had me set for surgery in June of last year but my insurance was going to change at the end of May. Panic set in that I was going to have to start all over again. I talked to my doctor and he got things changed around and set my surgery for the 24th of May. So happy it also worked out for you. -

Still really sore, questioning my decision
lassie replied to Iwatawood's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
I also do not think that age is the concern I was 65 when I got my band. I was in pain but not as much as you describe, have you checked with your doctor? I would give him/her a call just to be sure. hugs -
