    Today I'm 8 days post op. I have been hungry for the past couple of days. My doctor has me on 2 weeks full liquids. Today I ate about 3 teaspoons of refried beans. I'm not having any problems. I'm just scared that I might cause a leak..... I've read post were people were already eating soft foods by day 8.... Anyone know if it's okay to eat this early post op?

    I'm 6 days out and I'm also wanting to eat. I'm not having any problems nor do I feel hungry.. I just have the erge to chew.
