I had my lapband in june of 2011, today I weighed in at 199.7! I cant believe I did it! total loss of 74.3 pounds...Is this for real??? Have not posted in a while, but soooooo excited! Katie

My dietician is wonderful, and has a 80 20 rule... 80 percent of the time eat what you are suppose to, and 20 percent of the time give yourself a break! I am three weeks out and have lost 28 pouns. Almost a third of the way to my goal! I am loving this band! Best choice I have ever made for myself. Katie

I have been thinking about putting ten dollars for every pound I loose in a savings acount, the when I reach my goal I will have money for a new wardrobe! Down 24, so I guess I owe myself 240 bucks...maybe five for each pound! Katie

Any of you lap banders live in spokane and want to start a clothing exchange with me? Just had surgery last week...but am down 25 pounds from my consultation weight! I currently am in a size 18, and 1X top, but have lots of 20, and 2x tops. Let me know if any one wants to participate! Katie

I had surgery on june 6th, and am recovering like a rock star...I feel so lucky my surgery went well, and even more so my insurance covered it. Because the hospital I work at does the surgeries, my out of pocket will be very little. As of this morning am down 20 pounds, mostly due to the wonderful pre op diet! Thanks to Dr. Bright and his wonderful staff for making this happen for me!

I will be having surgery on june 6th with Dr. Bright, he is awesome! Spends a lot time with his patients. Have been very pleased. My mom also ued him last november. The whole group is great...Good luck to you. Katie

Help! Im having a hard time with the pre-op diet...Any Suggestions? I am doing the 4-5 protien shakes per day, with jello, and popsicles in between,
