My name is Kristen and I am a 29 year old RN from Texas. I have been over weight my whole adult life and decided late last year that 2011 was the year that I was going to make all my weight loss dreams a reality. I was nervous about weight loss surgery because I have not had my family yet but I scheduled an appointment in early January to see Dr. Kim and he set me at ease. After my first appointment I entered the pre-op classes and scheduled my surgery.
