I had a band in 2007. I did well with it until a bad accident and since then (three years) I have gained most all of my loss back. I found out about Dr. Aceves and inquired. Three weeks later I had my revision and the band is gone and I am on my way again.

The sleeve has been an adventure, it is much different than the band. it was hard and painful for the first month or so. Now, out five months this Saturday I have lost 69 lbs. I am very happy with my decision to get a revision and a sleeve. I am continually learning what I can and cannot eat. I eat about three spoonfulls about four times a day. I have stalls that go for two to three weeks and then I lose five to ten lbs. I am used to it now. I have lost all the weight I gained after my fall. I am very happy and feel good. I looked at myself in a window last night and though who is that?? WOW! THen I thought if I have lost this much at 5 months what will I look like at my year anniversary? My goodness. It has been great to hear people say you are melting, look so good etc. I did this just for myself. I am so glad I did!
