In highschool, I was very active (runner, swimmer). In college I played baskeball, so I was around 130 pounds. I am 5 feet 4 inches tall. I gained some of the weight after I had my children (3 Children). I am a dispatcher, so I sit for 12 hours at a time. I was on the night shift for 7 years. I think working nights at a sit down job is what really contributed to my weight gain. I was very inactive during the day even on my days off. Our facility is sort of isolated, so we ordered out a lot. It just saved us time from having to use out whole break to run and get food. When I started making arrangements to have my lapband surgery, I was 296 pounds. I am please with my lap band surgery. I am now 209 pounds. I still have almost 60 punds to lose, but I am hopeful that I can reach my goal.
