Well my name is Stephanie and on 4/22/11 I had lap band surgery done. I'm a mother to a beautiful 3 year little girl. She is the one who motivated me to do something about my weight. I have been heavy for most of my life and to be honest was never unhappy with my weight. But as I got older I gained more and after getting pregnant even more. I want to shed the weight so I can keep up with my little girl and not be "weighed" down by my own body.
