Thanks for the link Laura~ I enjoyed the read, but what a complete waste of my time. That is the first time since I became a moderator that I've ventured out to other threads (with the exceptions of unanswered posts). That kind of shit raises my blood pressure. But at least I got to use the smilie I've always wanted to. Never had the need over here in Violet Land...where everything and everyone are wonderful!

Morning Girls~ I can't believe it is over! I've decided I would like to retire sooner rather than later! LOL...I am still 21 years away from retirement, but a girl can dream. :crying: Well, the move is over!!! She officially lives in Palm Springs, but works in Orange County. We had a great day yesterday and officially started a new ritual. We always do this...but now it is a ritual. Coffee and the Sunday morning show (CBS) in bed! It is a great way to start a week! Now, if only she can get a job w/ Sunday's off, lol. That might ruin our ritual. I have no idea what I have to do today. I told myself not to even look at my calendar until I get to work...therefore, extending my vacation to the last minute. 5 am came too quickly! Thank Laura~ No, marrage is not legal in Cali...I wish. It is only legal in Mass now. You can have a civil union...but not a marriage. Hey Violets~ We are back and ready for this...2 cars are in the garage...and all her (and mine) crapola! We are officially co-habitating (except for the next 6 weeks as she sleeps in the barracks during the week...and then from May14-June 16 when she will be in Phoenix w/ her mom)...other than that...it is official:blush::thumbup: We had German noodles and pork chops...repeat tonight! Gotta go, her parents are leaving now...w/ a truck load of her crapola to take to the Phoenix house! WOW Jenn~ FEEL BETTER HONEY! Michelle~ Follow your dd's lead. If you make a big deal of it, she will feel "weirder" than not. If it bothers her for real, not just her crying because she was embarrassed, then I would seek some help. I would bet this subtle OCD has popped up in other areas of her life. Often times, it helps students in school too! Take a deep breathe and follow her lead! OK...off to eat cake!

Tracyk~ I use dipilatory cream on my upper lip...and I only need to do it about 4-5 times a year (maybe less). I do have my brows waxed...but the wax on my lip gave me big puffy blisters...how cute is that. I have NO problems w/ the cream...and it is about 6 bucks at the drug store. I have sensitive skin and I have no probs w/ the cream. Also, Susanne uses the cream w/ no probs. Kat~ I agree...perhaps you need to fly somewhere to get the unfil. Sorry your dealing w/ this. I think you are on to something here Terry. I'd be skinny as a rail if I had to eat canned turkey chili. (Note to self: go buy a shitload (actual unit of measurement) of canned turkey chili!). Your question had me thinking...."What is so hard about writing a dissertation?" The first thing I hate is that when I sit down to write...I GOTTA EAT. There is a direct connection w/ homework and pigging out! It is not hard...it just takes forever. Calculating and constructing research is soooo formulated that everything has to be right (I hate that). Anyway, I won't complain anymore. YOU ALL BETTER COME TO MY "I DID IT" PARTY! Details to follow! I wanted to go to mass this morning...but I slept in for my last day! Susanne's mom will be here this weekend so today was the last day to sleep. I woke at 7:30!!! I am gonna run a few errands and then waiting for the TV install guys to come. The "box" showed up last night...huge! (Didn't look that big on the wall). TracyK and Jane~ I LOVED THE SHOW! I like Chelsia but she really turned out to be a biotch (which made for great TV). I am not sure who I want to win. I know that if I have to hear for a week how the Lord helped Natalie win HOH...I will puke. She is simply ridiculous, dumb as dirt, and has no self-esteem. She thinks her tits are her defining asset. UUUGGG!! Remind me again why I think it is important to finish this damn dissertation??? %^&$ is all I can say! I can't stand it anymore...no wonder I wanted to quit. THIS SUCKS! And as I am typing away, I FINALLY get the call from the doctor (her secretary said, "oh you guys are playing phone tag." To which I reply, "no, I've tagged her 6 times and she has only tagged me once...her turn."). Anyway, I have a slightly enlarged uterus and a 1.6 nodule on my uterus. So, I have to have a biopsy as well as the ablation procedure. She is gonna do the biopsy and if it looks good, she will do the ablation. Prob is I am free 2 Fridays in the next 2 months...April 11 and May 23. ANYWAY...WHY AM I FINISHING A DISSERTATION AGAIN???????

Hey Girlies~ I am here...been crazy~ Johnny was here Sunday and we had a great day. Went to the Living Desert, then to home and said goodbye to Susanne, then we went to the park. During the day, my little guy was coughing a lot, but was not sick. Well as the evening progressed, he was weezing and breathing shallow. My bro came over Sunday night (he always sleeps here Sunday night because he works in PS but lives in Yucca Valley, 30 min away, and on Sunday he works until 10pm and then goes back at 6am...so he sleeps here). Anyway, the baby was crying and fussing all night...well, we went to sleep and John (bro) took Johnny (baby) to the ER in the night. He got a shot of steroids and antibiotic. I had no idea until 10am when they woke up. We went to breakfast and then they left. I flopped around here Monday afternoon...still pooped out from the day and night. Then yesterday, I ran some errands, bought Johnny some clothes...and came home and flopped around too. Today, I am working on my dissertation and waiting for the TV to be delivered today!!! Then installation will come tomorrow to hook it all up. They will also hook up the Bose system (man that was hella expensive). I have not offered to join the contest cause I am not there ladies...sorry. 'nuf said. Laura~ WTH??? Please let us know what is happening! TracyK and Janie~ BB is good...too good. I am tapping the showtime stuff and watching it...it is 3 hours long! Kat~ Sending some more PURPLE POWER to Manda.
