  1. Far be it from me to "out" anyone...but (leans in and whispers) everyone thinks/knows she was a lesbian. Personally, I've never met her or slept w/ her, so I can not confirm this:lol:. Thanks everyone for your props on the anniversary. I totally agree Terri...I'd be about 20 pounds heavier...still smoking...and miserable! I am vibrant, sexy, skin looks great...and am fluffy! Judy~ Hope your feeling better. Take care of yourself. Susanne, as you know, suffers from Mieners Disease (the dizzies) from time to time. It is hard to predict but makes her sick. Hope you feel better quick like. Ok...did we hear from Michelle yesterday? Off to work...LOL
  2. AAHH Schucks Susie~ Thanks honey! The best part about the year has been my Violets! xoxoxox
  3. Morning Vi's~ Today is my bandaversary. I am not that glad about it...wish I had lost more. I am proud of quitting smoking and I am proud of all the positive changes in my life (exercise, no soda (nearly), no fast food). Oh well...whoppidy-do! Yeah Kat, is it a pannis or TT? TT works w/ muscle and the pannis is removing of skin, right? Is there a big difference in cost (not that you have to worry about 90% of cost). Can't wait to go on this journey with you! What else is new??? Gonna go get my complete unfill today:sad_smile:. But I am also going to book an appointment for 2 weeks out to get a fill too.:huh2: It is Gay Girl Weekend!! The Kraft Nabisco Golf tourney is this weekend...AKA the Dinah Shore Weekend! That means lesbians come from all over the country/world for the tourney...AND THE PARTIES! We are going out w/ another couple tomorrow, first to a home show (after school) then downtown for dinner and drinks...and dancing! Then Saturday night, we are going to see Joss Stone in concert! Fun filled weekend. OK..have a great day everyone! xoxoxoxo

*sigh* The good and bad of new clothing.

I'd look 12 months pregnant wearing this top. I am ALL tummy! Looks great on other shapes!

LMAO...where the hell did you find that one? Is that a pannus or is that a vee-jay-jay? Still LMAO...hahah Here is one for you guys. I haven't lost much weight but have made great changes...so I am not even worried. I noticed that my tummy was deflating and it was not cute. I thought to myself, "I don't want to drop any more weight if my tummy will look like that!" That is pretty backwards huh? OOOOO well...I am a work in progress!

All you people do is complain...

I've never had Sonic either. I don't (as a rule) eat fast food anymore, but after reading all the goodies @ Sonic...I might need to try something?! I don't drink soda anymore either (with the exception of diet Spite in the mornings sometimes when I am nauseated). We had a Sonic about 10 miles away...and after 3 months it burned down. I guess I'll have to wait awhile now. 20 pounds in a week??? Did somebody have Gastric Bypass and NOT the Lapband? That sounds soooo healthy...NOT!
  7. Yeah Tracy! I am happy about that one! I am not so happy w/ the new HOH though...damn! Let's just hope A is stupid enough to put up James first and not back door him! I swear, the show on Showtime is soooo borring now. It is great in the beginning of the season...now...not so much. Shit...I hope James can survive!
  8. Tracy~ I want whinney ass Josh to go home. I used to like him, but he bugs. Between you and me (and everyone on the internet) I am hoping James wins everything...I am starting to really like him. He is like the Energizer Bunny...keeps going and going! I like Ryan too. ANYONE 'cept Nat the brat!
  9. Kat~ OMG...I (WE) are sooo happy for you! Congrats! When is it gonna be? Off to grade papers!
  10. Thanks for that refresher course. I pretty much failed that quiz. But some behaviors are changed and hopefully changed forever. I'd say I got about a 65% on the quiz. I know it is not a quiz...but, oh well!
  11. Thanks Angela~ I much prefer the term procedure to surgery. It will be outpatient, but it will be a few hours. It is done at the surgical center in Palm Springs (California). I would love to be done w/ the periods forever. If I'd have known, I would have bought stock in Kotex, Tampax and Fruit of the Loom about a year ago. I won't miss having to use 2 of the 3 products daily. Tracy and Janie...did you love the show??? I am still enjoying it! xoxoxox
  12. Wantitbad ~ Is your name Angela? Anyway thanks for the information. I am suffering w/ the same symptoms as you mentioned and am looking forward to having it behind me. I am a slight bit freaked out that I will NEVER have kids after this. I am 40 and really not interested in having kids...it just seems surreal that that will be it. But I am glad you had good results. Have you had any periods or bleeding? My friend at work had it done the same day she got the band. She said she doesn't remember anything about this surgery, cause the band surgery kicked her ass. She has not had one period and is very happy w/ it. Plus I am having a biopsy on my uterus too...got any input from that? I hope your name is Angela (if not...we will just call you that anyway...KIDDING). Welcome and jump in often. As Janie said...we chatted up 5 pages or so today alone. Ok..we went to see Stop-Loss! Run Don't Walk to see this movie. It is great for both men and women. I am not over it yet. Very moving, powerful, and thought provoking! OK...getting ready for BB! Tracy and Janie, I already know the outcome but I am still hooked!

What's the point of no "A"'s?

Hey Laura~ I am sorry this is happening. I teach middle school and in a Master degree program. Being a professional student myself, I'd be pissed. IMO, this is your degree. If you are not happy, talk to a higher up. I totally agree about the rubric. All assignments should have a rubric. In graduate school, I, as the professor, must highlight on the rubric the grade (A, B, C etc) and then write a brief summary w/ feedback. Is this a graduate degree you are earning? If you are not happy, let someone know.
  14. Thanks Kat~ I am less nervous now. The lady just sounded so ominous. It won't be bad. Susanne is off this week, but can probably be here next week on Friday. You are right...I am and will be sooo glad when this is over. Tracy, what I meant was as I was on phone w/ lady...I could feel I was getting my period (for today) again. Anyway...it is not easy to be out this time of year...but I am sure they will survive w/o me.
  15. Holy Crapola... The surgeons office just called my work. I am having my surgery next Friday. I didn't think it would happen that fast. I need to take off Thursday and Friday and get labs, etc for the surgery. I am all of a sudden nervous. I need to get a complete unfill first. They are gonna biopsy the nodule (I told ya'll about this right?) and then do the Nova Sure procedure after the biopsy if everything looks good. Man...I am shakin now. But as I was talking to her, I was not so subtly reminded why I am having this done (if you catch my drift). WOW...here we go.
  16. What is so confusing about that? What did I miss?
  17. Good one Haydee~ I have to come up w/ something good for Susanne. Perhaps I will tell her I am pregnant! That'll drop her jaw! Naw. I'll think of something else. I am blowing off Jazzercise tonight to go see Stop Loss w/ Susanne! I love it...our first movie on a Tuesday. We always said, "We can't wait to go to the movies on a Tuesday, like other people do!" We've waited a long time to cohabitate...it is starting to feel good! OK..I've got 10 of my 7th graders at the park today as a reward...so I am here w/ 12 6th and 8th graders. We are "trying" to watch a movie about Anne Frank...but they are too distracted cause they know it is just filler. That is one draw back teaching multigrades. I could've gone to the park, but last time I went w/ the 6th graders and people would get pissy about me getting to go. Plus, I am hoping to go to Knotts Berry Farm w/ the 8th graders, so I'll skip the park! BBL

    Gruene Violets

It is funny...I talk a ton of BS w/ the drinking. Yes, I do like me some margies...and yes, I will do a (singular) shot of Patron (on occasion, 2) but that is it...and then sip on a margie. I also don't like getting "out of it". I haven't been too drunk since college (which as you all know...I am still in college...KIDDING...I mean as an undergrad.) I like being in control...I like acting silly...I love to chat w/ my amigas...I love to relax...but I love me always being in control of me. I just don't want ya'll to think I am a lush. It is funny too...I can and usually do go months w/o a drink. It is always Spring that there are so many festivities that I tend to drink more.

We don't have any plants around here??? We do have an Arrowhead Bottling Company about 30 min away. It always smells like...like...like nothing when you drive by. SIGH

    Gruene Violets

Hell Yeah! Bring on the margies!!! And shots of Patron! Lick it, slam it, suck it (tequilla of course, get your minds out of the gutter). Everything is bigger in Texas so my ass will fit right in! HAHAHAHAHAH:lol::lol:
  21. HUH??? Must talk slower...can't compute...
  22. Morning Violets~ LMAO Michelle, you even had me going! My first thought was, "I guess her sister's name is Pam and I missed when she told us!" LOL that was a good one...I WISH IT WERE TRUE! That sounds like my kinda night! Yeah Terry...Where TF is TracyKS??? She is too busy being Mrs. DH that she doens't have time for the Violets:crying:. Boy, I had a headache the size of Texas last night. Since about 1pm...I even worked out thinking it might help. I had a porkchop and salad last night too. Then Susanne came home and she rang the door bell. I was surprised cause she was about 30 min too early by my calculations. I wasn't expecting her...plus why the hell is she ringing the bell right? Soooo, I yell "Who is it (it is dark outside) and I didn't hear anything. I slightly open the door, thinking the screeen door would be closed and locked and she was right there. She had opened the screen and was coming in the door. I screamed soooo loud, I gave myself a sore throat and a REALLY REALLY BAD HEADACHE. She was laughing soooo hard she almost pee'd her pants. I was dying. So I ended up opening up some wine and she and I finished a bottle...ON A SCHOOL NIGHT! WOOHOO. Sorry for the long rambling story! OMG...I've been meaning to tell you all this. Have you all (ya'll) seen Into the Wild? OMG what an amazing movie! I highly recommend it. It is beautiful and teaches us about life...more importantly, living. It is PG13 and is great for everyone. OK...I should get crack-a-lackin' and booty-smackin'. Have a great day! I'll pop in later! xoxoxoxoxo

  25. Tracy! WOOFREAKINHOO!!! Come on over! Susanne will be home tonight! She got an additional week off due to neck/back strain from all the moving:wink:. So glad to have her home. I am off to exercise...jazzercise...here I come!
