Thanks Laura~ Since I became a moderator (a job which I am not very good at, btw) I keep getting TONS of emails...and I don't want 'em. Long ago I stopped getting Violet notifications, can you imagine...the way we like to talk. Thanks again! I've had 1/2 c. cott cheese, 1 small banana, 1 granola bar (this over the last 4.5 hours..I have to eat this way in the morning, slow and steady) and am having beans, hamburger (mixed) onion, tomatoes, and 2% cheddar w/ a few low fat/cal tortilla chips for lunch! I am starving! BBL

Nerd Alert: Today I ordered the complete Twilight Zone series on DVD. Worst part, I already have it on VHS, but don't have a VCR. I also booked a trip to Phoenix on Memorial Weekend to see Susanne who will be there a month w/ her mom!

Janie...OMG, I laughed at the post. I am not sure which is funnier, the men or your reaction. Your not being a prude...at least you went there. I live by the "to each his own" philosophy. Anyway, enjoy your spring ladies:wink:. Judy~ WOW...I could NEVER go parasailing. I wont even go on a roller coaster...sooo scared of heights. I am just a simple girl, who likes the Earth, and likes to be close to it! You'll have fun. Susanne has never been to the Bahamas(she has been EVERYWHERE else). We are talking about going soon (within the next 2 years) We had a day and a half yesterday! We went out and piddled around and went to this furniture store that is going out of business (saw the commercial yesterday morning). We ended up buying a $700 dresser/beaurau (sp) on sale for $565! It is beautiful and we wanted it in bedroom to put the TV on and put our linens in it. Well, we paid for it, and the subcontracted out w/ a moving guy to bring it to our house (it is huge). That was gonna be $80 bucks for delivery. So we come home and wait and they finally arrive w/ it. The guy comes in and tells us that a strap broke and damaged the dresser WTF??? Since he does not work for the company THERE IS NO RECOURSE!!! It has about 8 divets (gauges) in it...actally made me sick to my stomach when I saw it.:biggrin::eek::regular_smile: I of course start yelling, "F*CKF*CKF*CK" and Susanne was pissed. Then we realized...oh well...there is nothing we can do. The guy said that he has a carpenter guy he works w/ and he'd have him come over and fix it...whatever. We took a marker and colored it all the gauges so our beautiful DARK wood dresser doesn't have big WHITE chunks missing:frown:. Then we went to the concert. We went to the casino and were having a quick bite when...whamo...no electricity! FOR OVER AN HOUR! This friend of ours was on the potty when it happened as we were eating. She came back and said there is smoke all in the downstairs of the casino and they are evacuating everyone! Well, turns out, the smoke came from smokers. Soon as the electricity went out the smoke was soooo thick. The concert FINALLY went on...and she was wonderful. Any Joss Stone fans here??? Anyway, got home late and slept in late. Gonna go to the store and be LAZY all day. I have a boat load of papers to grade! Have a great day...sorry for the long post! xoxoxoxox

Top o' the morning Violets~ We had a wonderful morning w/ coffee in bed and watched the movie Simone on TNT! Sooooo lazy, I love it! We are going out to breakfast now...walk around downtown, and play it by ear too! I LOVE SATURDAYS! We have the concert later, so beebop around until then. I didn't tell ya'll...I got my retro check this week from a raise that goes back to July. Well, I was expecting around 300, but it was 1200!!! Anyway, I was thinking..."what do I want???" Couldn't think of anything I want/need. Then it hit me...I wanted the complete DVD set of the ENTIRE I Love Lucy series! And I went online and got it! I am sooo excited! It was only 170, but it comes in a cute box thingy! One day or two this summer...you guessed it...LUCY DAY(S)! Hey V's~ Home from our fun night! Had a great night...very relaxing. Went to Ron Baron's Homeshow, that was cool. We went a couple years ago and bought a Cal King Tempurpedic (sp) bed...LOVELOVELOVE IT! Then dinner w/ our friends (1 taco and split some nachos). We sat outside (weather in the 80's), just BEAUTIFUL! Then we went to a gay bar and had 1 drink. That was nice too. Just relaxing all night! Fun, friends, laughs...aaahhh. My friend says it is probably hormonal or due to the anemia and all. I don't know...I considered taking a Valuim for breakfast! Seriously! I had it in my hand. WTF??? Susanne and I had a row this morning and after I put my face on...I started crying like a baby! She is telling me to take deep breaths, but I'd rather punch a wall. Oh yeah, we went to dinner last night and I had to PB on a small bite of salmon. We were sitting outside downtown, and I had to make that LOOONNNGGG walk to the back where the bathroom is. My mouth was full of slime by the time I got to the very full and very small bathroom! So, I run out and go out the back door (where we came in from and where the car was) and did a full PB in front of people on the grass. Thank Goodness I grabbed a napkin on my long walk. OMG...not good to run out fo a resturaunt and "puke" in front of people. Funny part was, afterwards (one heave) I stood up, wipped my mouth and walked back in and ate 1/3 of salmon...all asparagus...1/2 pasta...LOL.

Morning V's~ Terri~ HAPPY HAPPY BANDAVERSARY! What an amazing year, eh? I have no regrets either. Congrats to you! Did I hear (see) you correctly...did you quit smoking too?! Congrats! I went to get my unfill yesterday...but it didn't happen. He said I only need an unfill if I had an NG tube...which he didn't think I would. He said that once this is over, come in and he'd give me a fill and an appointment w/ the nutrisionist (sp?). I'm looking forward to getting back on track...AGAIN! lol Happy Friday! Love you guys! OMG...that Naugles (chicken burrito my fav) was our high school hang out. I still live in Palm Springs, and no...I no longer "hang out" at fast food places. But we used to LOVELOVELOVE Naugles, especially after, shall we say, um...altering our personalities in high school. :thumbup::biggrin: Did you ever see me there? LOL:lol:

When I got my band, I gave up fast food. EXCEPT In-and-Out Burgers (grew up and still live in So Cal...and will NEVER give these up((plus I only eat them like 2x a year))) and Panda Express. The meal I get at Panda is about 900 calories...but it takes me 3 meals to eat it. Oh yeah...and if I work out...I allow myself 1-2 small DQ Blizzards a month:biggrin2:
