Terri, My neighbors can't see anything. We have a 6ft. fence around the propertys...we all do! I know my neighbors hang at the pool in the buff...the tree trimmers told me, lol! Glad your home...both Kat and Terri!!! We missed you and Laura!

Back from the yard work...the poop, sweeping, and of course playing water w/ my baby! He is old, but jumps through the air to get water. It is 104 here today, so I always water him down. It is kinda fun, I was out there in my panties only:tt1:...playing in the water w/ him! I've done 4 loads of laundry, ran an errand, did dishes...blahblahblah...anything but homework. I am gonna play in a scrabble tourney now...and then, I'll take a mini nap and then homework. Tracy~Great way to spin things. The last piece of the old you...how refreshing! Morning Girls~ Man, I am so pissed. I slept in until 7, did dishes, 2 loads of laundry, cleaning about here and there...and TOTALLY MISSED THE TENNIS MATCH I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR! Damn, I guess it was a good one too. Federer lost and Nadal won but I wanted to see it:mad::incazzato:. Michelle~ Big hug girl! I don't have any pearls of wisdom for your blues...just hate that you have 'em! And yes, I concur, a Gruene margie cures all the blues! Whatever you do...STAY AWAY FROM THE CARROTS (huh Susie). Hey Everyone~ (terribly quiet around here) Hope everyone is having a nice weekend! I love Saturdays, my fav. Had an interesting day. I went up to see my brother (he lives in the high desert, and his house is the 2nd one from a big beautiful mountain where he and Johnny go dirt bike riding). Well, the damn mountain was on fire! I mean bad...I left when he was under volunteering evacuation! We sat out front w/ all the neighbors staring at the fire. I left about 6pm and it was nearly contained...but was a long day! I had a PB on a baby carrot! OMG...that one hurt. Then I had one at lunch and a small one at dinner. On a baby carrot??? That shocked me! I thought I was pretty open! Well I've been watching Army Wives this evening, on Lifetime...can't wait for the new season tomorrow!!! Have a great night! Hey girlies~ A wee bit tired after a great party last night. The place was packed and fun was had by all. I made out too. I got 2 necklaces, earrings AND a bracelet for hosting the party! I was up late...the Gruene Margies are a HIT! I am the designated MARGIE MAKER at the end of the year party! I guess next Friday we are having our end of year TGIF and then on Mon. the 16th we have a HUGE blowout at the great house that overlooks all of Palm Springs! That is our annual...get a designated driver...party. We all end up in the pool and if you don't walk in, you'll get pushed in! Anyway, I should get to stop drinking after the 16th. LOL...I actually consider myself a non drinker, but I am gonna have to upgrade to a social drinker:biggrin:. It is funny, I'll go months w/o a drink, but every spring...seems to be partys and functions that warrant spirits! Anyway, it's been fun around here! Today, I get to be Aunt Pam Pam and am going up to see my brother, who lives about 30 min away. He works in PS so is here everyday. We are going out to eat, then while he shows his clients a few houses, my little nephew will go to the parK!! Looking forward to seeing his little face! Speaking of faces...I miss ya'lls face (s)! I hope Terri, Kat and Laura are having fun on their weekends. The rest of us will hold down the fort! Tracy...have fun on your day "off". I am gonna take a nap now...that is my idea of fun!

You can do it Tracy!!! Well, I just freaked out. I went to LBT.com and didn't have the regular home page. I had to use a drop down menu to find April 07...whew...almost had a fit! I am back from jazzercise! Yeah me...3x this week. Now if my eating matched my effort...I'd be in business. I got great news from the dissertation front today! Won't bore ya'll w/ the details, but it is good...and there is good momentum now. I am too tired to work on it tonight, but my mind is busy! Cross your fingers for me ladies...if I pull this off, you are all invited to my party! Don't worry, it will be June09...plenty of notice! God...I wish! Well, I am gonna chill tonight! Hey Violets~ 350 to Palm Springs is cheap! Also, I mentioned it to someone Ontario California (not Canada, lol Tracy) is 1.5 hours away and is cheaper to fly into. Some violets could get together and rent a car/van and drive the straight shot on the 10 freeway!!! LAX would work too, but w/ LA traffic and it being 2.5 hours away, it is a bit more! I told ya'll I flew from PS to Phoenix for $704 (would have been $550 had I booked it early). Anywho...it was gonna be $120 from Ontario to Phoenix. So it is cheaper...but PS airport is 2 miles away. I am still at meeting. Just ate lunch (I won't tease w/ the details) but now we have an afternoon of meetings, but now I need a nap! xoxoxoxo

:biggrin:Ladies~ Seriously...I live a couple of miles from the airport in Palm Springs! A Labor Day Violet Blowout or mini blowout would be great! The closet sleeps 4 plus I have 2 couches!!! Hey Girlies~ I just sent Judy a picture, requesting she resize it for me and post on our thread. I just got the piece I bought in Gruene!!! It is just beautiful and looks GREAT in my home. I bought it quickly...even for me. But I knew it when I saw it that it was meant to be w/ me!!! It is hanging on the wall in the dining room area. Anyway, when Judy (THANKSTHANKSTHANKS) posts it...ya'll will know what it is. It is so special to me. It is from the 1800's and is from England. But forever to me it will be known as, "the piece I bought in Gruene on one of the bestest times of my life...w/ my lifelong friends":wub::tt1::grouphug::smile::grouphug:

Morning Ladies~ Wow Michelle...I know you said you wouldn't trade that for the world but, that would suck. The boys only playing for 10-15 min...I hope they weren't too disappointed. I KNOW how 13 yo boys smell...man o man. I have 15 of 'em after lunch AND PE...and it is 100 degrees outside. Weekly, I talk about deodorant, and perhaps a little cologne...and how they will have more friends in life if they smell better. :eek: Well, I am in a meeting for this morning (yeah...anytime I can get out of the classroom the better). I'll pop in this afternoon. Ya'll don't talk too much, cause it is harder to pop in during Math and Science. Did I mention I worked out 2x already this week...and it is only Wed!!! Yeah Me! Can't do it tonight cause my study group...but Thursday and perhaps Sat am. Oh yeah, I am having another party Friday. This time I am hosting my friends jewlery party. Good for you Tracy! I know that was a tough decision, but I am glad you made the one that is best for your family. My left hamstring is KILLING me...so is my right big toe. I am not sure if I am working out tonight because I got an email from my dissertation chair, and I am scared to open it. Susie~ I am loving the Tad/Dixie thing. Adam just spilled the beans about Kate...thank goodness. Sometimes they drag the story lines out a bit too much! Well, I was just gently reminded I have a band. I had a Cobb for dinner and went back in to 1/2 in a container for lunch tomorrow...well, just had to take some big bites fast didn't I. Then whamo...oooo yeah, I have a band in there...as I am hurling in the sink 2x! All in all, I did not have anything "off" today. No sweets! Wow..been a while since I could say that. Did anyone see Oprah today. That Bob Green group that has been working out and eating right. One of them only lost 17 pounds, but she quit smoking. Bob said that when you quit smoking, you metabolism slows a bit. So he was impressed that quit smoking and lost 17 pounds in the same year. So, there is hope for me yet! OK...gonna watch 2 1/2 men and then hit the hay! xoxoxo sleep well!
