Morning Vi's~ Denise...wowser! The house is beautiful. First think I thought of was that this is where Christmas'es (sp) are gonna be w/ the grandbabies!!! It looks amazing...and so do you btw! There are MANY different jobs, some w/ people, some in offices, some w/ kids (few), sooo many different avenues and opportunities for people. Go online to your local distict page and check it out. The reason I say it cause the benefits are great!!! Well, I am trying to do the low carb thing. Been pretty good, but i think I am "cheating" w/ the veggies (doesn't that sound weird). Last night we had baked lemon salmon (off the hook) and steamed cauliflower and brocc! For lunch it was a salad, and breakfast was eggs, cott cheese and strawberries (small bit of each and the eggs had cheese and salsa). Am I doing this right? Anyone know some helpful hints, ideas, sites? I know TracyKS is big into it...but ya'll are too, right? I can't find my Protien Power book. Yesterday we went skinny dipping again. We both hung on either side of a raft, and just floated for about 30 min. talking...it was so relaxing. (Sorry about your swimming delay Judy, heres hoping for an Indian Summer). My friend Steph (we are babysitting her dog now) will be back today, and Susanne is painting her living room later. Anyway, she will be gone for 2 weeks! WooHOo...skinny dipping for 2 weeks. Hey Everyone~ I forgot all the personals I was gonna say...Hate that. I'll try to remember as I go along. Well, we had a drag down blow out fight yesterday. It is over and we are great again, I think it was building for a while. We ended the fight w/ plenty of tears and some laughs too! Anywho...fights come and go. In the 3.5 years we've been together, we've had about 4 of these. They are good for the soul of us. Needless to say, yesterday was a wash...she was asleep by 7:30, and I passed out during BB by 8:10~ Tracy...love it already! Been over to www.bbchatter.com to keep updated. Today we were up at 5:30, cleaned the dog poop (in undies only) and played w/ the boy. We ran some errands and then she agreed to paint our friends office today and will do living room and hallway next week. She is being paid well, and this is our friend Steph who has the pool, so I've been over there swimming and Susanne can take a break and jump in anytime. WOW...that was a "mouthful". Hey Violets~ Tracy...that is WONDERFUL NEWS!!! I am so please that mom is doing well. There is so much strength in Purple Power and a whole church house...man, that is so powerful. I am so glad you and your family can "exhale" as I know you have been holding your breath! I slept through the night. I was worried since I took a 4 hour nap and woke up at 7pm. I loved BB last night! It is always hard/weird to start w/ a new group. For the first time in years, I will not be getting the live feed. I need to do my homework. Don't need any more distractions. Hey Vi's~ Sorry, but y = y now:biggrin:! Well, 15 days, 4 countries, 8 different airplanes,5 different beds...we are home! Yesterday was BRUTAL. We actually traveled for 26 hours. We arrived home @ midnight CA time, but it felt like 9 am Tuesday morning to us! We got to Atlanta and had to go through immigration, get our bags, go through customs, then recheck our bags to CA. We finally went to bed about 12:30 am...and you guessed it...I was up at 3:33am WIDE EYED AND BUSHY TAILED. Ground some fresh coffee Beans, made some coffee and decided to pop over here. Needless to say Tuesday is a wash for us. Trying to catch up on AMC and take many naps. I need to go to the store though. I am starting induction or something close to it. Protien and salads and veggies for me. I will miss the fresh baked breads EVERY morning, w/ cold cuts. Germany was amazing. Susanne got her mom tons of seasonings she uses to make lots of yummy foods. Her mom will be here this weekend, so then I will go back to my protien, salad and veggies after the weekend. Last night, on the last leg of our trip (from Atlanta to Ontario, CA) there was a soldier on board, taking the casket of a fallen soldier home to his family. I was sleeping and heard the captain say, that he wanted us all to stay seated as he leaves the plane to go down stairs to the belly to get the casket. OMG I burst out bawling. I was so tired and it broke my heart to think of that family. As tired as we were, we watched through the window as the flag draped casket was removed from the plane. His family was there and a minister to bless the body. The Army soldiers were there in formal formation (that sounds weird) as they put the casket in the limo. There were people watching from the terminal and you could hear sniffles. Grown men wiping their eyes, etc. Susanne and I were bawling. I am tearing up just thinking about it. Gonna post now. BBL...haven't played scrabble in 2 weeks. Got to get a cup of Joe too!

z = y Hez Violets... WAKEZ WAKEZ...EGGS AND BACKEZ!! Does not have the same ring to it w-out the y. It is noon here...so that means it is 3am in Cali...and 6 am on the east coast. Todaz we are gonna go look at some castles w- Susannes aunts. It is our last daz in Neuweid. We go to Frankfurt tomorrow and flz out <Mondaz morning. Me again, The people sure like to eat here. We have breakfast which is bread, rolls, deli meat, cheese. We have this everzwhere it is a tzpical breakfast. Then lunch which has been a full size dinner dish...LOADS OF CARBS: Then, readz for this...about 2pm, we have CAKE AND COFFEE. There is no Splenda here, so coffee is w- real sugar. Then dinner is more of the same. Both of us have "thickened up" since weve been here. The clothes we brought are getting tighter. lol...man o man...I need to go on a diet and get a fill. I am too embarrassed to go to the doctor, so I have to drop some quick numbers before the fill. I am waiting for Susanne so i keep popping in here. <I am reading a great trash novel called Drop Dead Beautiful! It is a great summer read. I need to finish it before I get home. I dont read books much...feel too guiltz for not doing homework. Anzwaz, it is a great read, if anzone is looking for a no brainer for summer. Did i tell zou all how much i love zou(cant find the question mark)??? i found it! here are more weird letters i just found. ß öä§ ß is a hard s and is pronounced as 'ss'. REMEMBER...z = y Hez Violets, Let me start bz sazing how much i miss zou. I find mzself composing posts in mz head telling zou all of mz adventures. (I reallz wish the kezboard was right, and z did not =y...sorrz about that). I have been everzwhere and thinking about all i need to tell the v's. I think I need an intervention...then rehab. HI, I AM PAMELA AND I AM ADDICTED TO LAPBANDTALK: "HI PAMELA". Well, lets see. I've been everzwhere. The southern part of Germanz was great aand Susannes familz was wonderful. Italy was a surreal experience. Rome is dirtz, crouded, busy, HOT AS HELL, but i made it to the Vatican, the Collisium, and the Trevi Fountain. Waking up in Italy was the bestest birthdaz present ever. >I bought mz godkids and familz all rosaries from the Vatican and a new cross for the house!It was great, but I am glad to be back in Germanz. It is so peaceful here...much more mz speed than the buzy citz of Rome. On our waz to the airport to flz to Rome, we got lost and actuallz drove into France!!! That was cool, so now, I've been to France too! We will be home Mondaz night. More of what I've learned in Europe: 1. I miss talking to people who understand me. 2. IMODIUM IS MZ BEST FRIEND...'nuf said:frown: 3. Toilet paper is reczcled in Europe...ouch! 4. THIS IS GOING TO BE KNOWN AS THE 20 POUND TRIP! 5. Euopean men can be rude. Back...remember y = z We went along this other river todaz and had a great time. It was raining...soooo green and beautiful forests everzwhere! I felt like i was in a fairz tale, brothers grimm or something. We had a walnut waffle, walnut ice cream thingy and zummz (lol, that is yummy) coffee as we sat along the river and forrest on a covered patio...in the rain. Would be romantic cept we were w- her aunts. We are back here for dinner. <more stuff I've learned: 1. If zou (z = y) go to Europe...at the airport before zou leave the USA, go into the bathroom and steal some toilet seat covers. Thez dont have anz here and a girl can onlz squat so much. 2. Did i mention the cars are small...well the streets are reallz small. 3. Euro spend faster than monez 4. i learned waz more german todaz 5. i cant remember what else i learned...but sure will when i log off 6. oh zea, it gets dark at 10 or later here 7. susanne is funnz. She is normallz verz quiet (z = y) and doesnt saz much in English. It is her second language and not verz comfortable for her. I mean, she speaks a lot w- me...just not w- others. Well, here, the girl doesnt stop talking. She has said more in the last 2 dazs then in the 3.5 zears we've been together. Laura...we are here just to hang out. Update: We went and bought bigger matching (how cute huh) suitcases and are gonna check 'em! Cross your fingers for us that they arrive! I cut the shit out of my finger today getting out of the shower. I sliced the right thumb pretty deep and cried it hurt so bad. xoxo
