Good Morning Violets~ First late me say that I am sorry I have been a crappy Violet lately. I read everything and think of all these witty posts, then when I really have time to say anything, I forget. I don't say feel better soon, great NSV,proud of you for doing the walk, good luck w/ the PS, and all the other nice things everything you all say to each other. I am just busy, but I LOVE YOU ALL, AM PROUD OF YOU ALL, WISH ANY AILING VIOLET WELL WISHES...forgive me! We went to nephew's karate class last night! 4 year old boys...too cute! I loved it. I'll post pix as soon as I have time to get them up. OK...TGIF!!! We are going to see the movie Nights in Rodanthe today w/ a bunch of people! Then home to grade more papers! I'll pop in later from work. Friday's the kids take 2 tests...:tongue2:

Hey Ya'll~ Didn't realize I didn't post today....oops, my bad! I was and have been swamped. Actually kinda feel "under the weather" or "got the blues"...just not sure which. Been busy for too long now. We ate spaghetti. Mind you I had about 1/8-1/4 c. whole wheat angel hair pasta, cut up like for a baby, and then meat sauce! I did force myself to eat the salad, although I was full. I just feel like I needed the roughage (is that spelled right?), if you know what I mean. I did take a bite of the French bread Sus brought home from Costco, and yep...PB'd that puppy right up...I should have known better! Judy~ That video was sooo funny. I had seen it when it was on Ellen...loved it! I too love Jesus, but like to drink a little! Laura~ I've tried acupuncture for hives...and it cured me (I suffered for year w/ 'em, until I finally tested postive for a shellfish allergy). I really think it is worth looking into. You don't want 7 months like this, if you can avoid it. Where is Michelle?? Who else...seems like many of us are MIA. We need to keep working at this relationship ladies. We will get out of it what we put into it. (where the hell did that come from?) Can't wait for xmas! Off to watch our dumbass stupid president! (Notice I did not mention party affiliation:tt2:)

Morning Ladies~ So glad it is hump day! Ready for a weekend already. My former lead teacher sent this to me and I think it is great. IT IS THE TOP WAYS TO REDUCE STRESS. Perhaps it will help some of the violets, especially now. Have a great day! 1. Pray 2. Go to bed on time. 3. Get up on time so you can start the day unrushed. 4. Say No to projects that won't fit into your time schedule, or that will compromise your mental health. 5. Delegate tasks to capable others. 6. Simplify and unclutter your life. 7. Less is more. (Although one is often not enough, two are often too many.) 8. Allow extra time to do things and to get to places. 9. Pace yourself. Spread out big changes and difficult projects over time; don't lump the hard things all together. 10. Take one day at a time. 11. Separate worries from concerns . If a situation is a concern, find out what God would have you do and let go of the anxiety . If you can't do anything about a situation, forget it. 12. Live within your budget; don't use credit cards for ordinary purchases. 13. Have backups; an extra car key in your wallet, an extra house key buried in the garden, extra stamps, etc. 14. K.M.S. (Keep Mouth Shut). This single piece of advice can prevent an enormous amount of trouble. 15. Do something for the Kid in You everyday. 16. Carry a Bible with you to read while waiting in line. 17. Get enough rest. 18. Eat right. 19 Get organized so everything has its place. 20. Listen to a tape while driving that can help improve your quality of life. 21. Write down thoughts and inspirations. 22. Every day, find time to be alone. 23. Having problems? Talk to God on the spot. Try to nip small problems in the bud. Don't wait until it's time to go to bed to try and pray. 24. Make friends with Godly people. 25. Keep a folder of favorite scriptures on hand. 26. Remember that the shortest bridge between despair and hope is often a good "Thank you Jesus " 27. Laugh. 28. Laugh some more! 29. Take your work seriously, but not yourself at all. 30. Develop a forgiving attitude (most people are doing the best they can). 31. Be kind to unkind people (they probably need it the most). 32. Sit on your ego. 33 Talk less; listen more. 34. Slow down. 35. Remind yourself that you are not the general manager of the universe. 36 . Every night before bed, think of one thing you're grateful for that you've never been grateful for before.

Kat, you and all the Violets are welcome to come over and have some sauce. I only cook angel hair pasta (other is and has always been too think) and now we only have whole wheat pasta. I have a small amount and I cut it up really good. Then I add my meaty sauce. I just need a small bit of pasta to cut the sauce. Lots of meat for the protein too. Was gonna say something else...????? blonde momement! BBL

Tracy~ Hope mom is well! Thought about you today. Jenn~ Get the NovaSure procedure...unless you want more babies. I am soooo glad I did and I still have all my parts. TracyK~ Good luck w/ dd's school. I also hope it is a go...I would imagine you would want to return to routine. Hey Terri~ xoxoxoxo You ready for Sat? We went to happy hour. :redface:Here is a little funny for my violets! Off to Monday Night Football happy hour!!! No pie hole report for me today! A store that sells new husbands has opened in New York City , where a woman may go to choose a husband. Among the instructions at the entrance is a description of how the store operates: You may visit this store ONLY ONCE! There are six floors and the value of the products increase as the shopper ascends the flights. The shopper may choose any item from a particular floor, or may choose to go up to the next floor, but you cannot go back down except to exit the building! So, a woman goes to the Husband Store to find a husband. On the first floor the sign on the door reads: Floor 1 - These men Have Jobs. She is intrigued, but continues to thesecond floor, where the sign reads: Floor 2 - These men Have Jobs and Love Kids. 'That's nice,' she thinks, 'but I want more.' So she continues upward rd. The third floor sign reads: Floor 3 - These men Have Jobs, Love Kids, and are Extremely Good Looking. 'Wow,' she thinks, but feels compelled to keep going. She goes to the fourth floor and the sign reads: Floor 4 - These men Have Jobs, Love Kids, are Drop-dead Good Looking and Help With Housework</ SPAN>. 'Oh, mercy me!' she exclaims, 'I can hardly stand it!' Still, she goes to the fifth floor and the sign reads: Floor 5 - These men Have Jobs, Love Kids, are Drop-dead Gorgeous, Help with Housework, and Have a Strong Romantic Streak. She is so tempted to stay, but she goes to the sixth floor, where the sign reads: Floor 6 - You are visitor 31,456,012 to this floor. There are no men on this floor. This floor exists solely as proof that women are impossible to please. Thank you for shopping at the Husband Store. PLEASE NOTE: To avoid gender bias charges, the store's owner opened a New Wives store just across the street. The first floor has wives that love sex. The second floor has wives that love sex and have money and like beer. The third, fourth, fifth and sixth floors have never been visited.

Hi Ladies~ Michelle said it best...busybusybusy!!! HH~ keep popping in here and take part of our PIEHOLE REPORTS! Talk about accountability...speaks volumes when you have to put it on the internet, haha! I am swamped at work, diss and Walden. Actually was already crying this morning. Susanne said, "why are you crying...you are the teacher?!" She is right, but I feel PRESSURE now. Wish me luck! OK have a great day! Tracy~Purple power for your mom today...I would imagine she is DREADING it. Also, she should walk in and say, "I chose to exercise my patient right to pain meds!" Plain and simple, they need to give her something. If she says it like, it will scare 'em! Good luck! ttfn
-
Kat, my mom had to take that pain med but they came in suckers. Fentinol or something like it...it knocked her socks off! She kept asking me if I saw the lady "floating in the white dress?" Freaked me out. I think it was an angel or something. Anyway, be careful! xoox

An IEP is an Individualized Educational Plan. The individualize and personalize a students education. Meetings are called to involved the parents, and keep them in the "know" about programs etc. their child will get. Been a model bandster today and I am starving. Going out to dinner...but cause I just had a fill, gonna 'do' something soft and mushy. He wants his patients on liquids for a week, then mushy for a week, then soft for a week...yeah freakin right. I do mushy/soft for a week...then slowly go (or try) regular. Did I mention the new nutritionist is oooo about 5'11, 100 pounds and looks like she just left "America's Next Top Model" show. My gawd...I mean really...she turned sideways and damn near disappeared. She was all pissy w/ me for not taking vitamins and made me go get 9 vials of blood drawn yesterday (did I tell ya'll this?). Anyhoo...skinny biotch, lol! OK...gotta boogie! ttfn

Great news about Kat!!! Can I get an AMEN!XOXOXOXOXOXOXO

I am a bit nervous, but I am so honored they asked me to marry them! I'll post pictures IF I look cute...lol! Tomorrow is the big day. They are getting married on the pier in Santa Monica. Very small service about 25 people...just the girls' family. Then we walk about 30 feet and all go have dinner at Bubba Gumps! Ya'll know what Bubba Gumps is? bubba gump It is a theme resturaunt all about the Forrest Gump movies. It is a really cute place and has wonderful sea food. This one is right on the beach! Anyhoo...that is my weekend. And Sunday is reserved for...yep...you guessed it!!! Homework and Walden! Judy, thanks so much for keeping us all in the looop. Hey V's~ I remember we talked about Zumba last year...maybe it was Denise who did it! Glad it was fun...wish I could find a class to "give it a whirl"! I had a fill today!!! He put me up to 2.0...keeping my fingers crossed that this works well. I was 2.4 in Texas and ya'll remember how that worked for me. I went from 1.6 to 2.0, so hopefully these smaller steps will work better then the big giant step I took before. Also, I had an unfill @ 1.8 too. I need to really baby the band this time. I made some soup for dinner!!! We are leaving in a few for a bike ride. I can only go about 1.5 miles...but I am working towards getting the ol' VJJ in biking shape! Laura...you didn't check in today (unless I am crazy) Hoping all is okay! Kat...We are all here waiting to hear! Judy~ thanks for texting everyone! OK...bbl Oh yeah...I LOVE THE END OF BB!!! Can't wait for the next one!
