I didn't move or pee all night! I am very tired...and I only have to work 12 hours today! Thats right...I get two 45 min breaks, but 12 hours. I will stay at work until 7pm for conferences...but get to leave tomorrow @ 11:30! I am meeting my dear friend from High School (she lives in San Francisco and is down for the week). I am soooo looking forward to seeing her. That is my story! Gotta go put my face on and look fab for the parents! love ya

Denise, all of the above...especially the best investment ever. I LOVE it...and wake up refreshed every day. We don't have too many bells and whistles according to the price you mentioned, ours was 4k retail, but we bought it at a HOME SHOW for 3200. You have to have their base. I really love it, but I recommend you lay on one BEFORE YOU SPEND. They are hard...but after 2 nights, you are used to it...and don't wake up feeling like shit, kinked or crocked. My friend bought the sleep number bed...and hates it, wishes she bought the temperpedic. Good luck!

My Klausy and I used to sleept together. I miss that...we would curl up w/ me in the winter and at 140 pounds...he kept me warm. He is my Rottie and when he was a baby, he would jump down...so I would go pick him up. Then he got too big. We slept together for 5 years. It was hard though, he was outside all day then would come in for bed. My bed OFTEN felt like the beach...sandy everywhere. But he was the baby right?? Then, the baby kept getting bigger and bigger. I would wake up and he would be standing over my head...not inappropriately, but like Alpha dogging me. I AM THE BOSS OF YOU MOMMY. Kinda freaked me out. The night before my mom died, I put all three (2 have since passed) dogs out because I knew I would need to call the ambulance. They (well Klaus now) never came back in. After she died, I remodeled, and then...well...just never wanted to deal w/ the dog hair again. I feel bad but, he has a twin bed, enclosed (or is it inclosed??) patio, and a HUGE yard. LIfe is not too bad for him! bbl

Oh Yeah... We have a Cal King (no one has mentioned this size yet) Temperedic Bed...I love it! We scooch over to touch just a bit while falling to sleep, but then part ways and snooze all through the night w/o touching.

Morning Girls~ Judy...I didn't realize Kris was due in a week! She is due on Ash Wednesday! Is Ethan happy about getting a new cousin? I bet you are OVER THE TOP happy and anxious. Kat...that is awesome news! I am so happy for you and your family! Still keeping my fingers crossed and sending prayers for you, just in case! Today is Parent Teacher Conferences! I like these days because I usually get a lot of work done, haha! And I get to speak Spanish too! We have minimum day at school...then from 12:15 - 3:15 I will sit in my room and work on whatever...probably be stalking LBT. Well, we met w/ the plastic surgeon. I am excited but Sus is now skeptical. I think I am going to go for it...the chin anyway. The eyes were 4500.:blushing: I can still do chin (for 4500) and go to Alaska (hopefully). I told Sus, I didn't want to do both. I can't spend 9k on this and do Alaska. I really want to go to Hawaii for xmas, so we will see. I have too many things going on right now to committee to anything. It was cool to meet w/ him though...got some good info. Haydee's missing tweezers have showed back up here, lol! WoW Busy morning! We worked out and for some reason I was rushed all morning. Barely made to work on time. Thanks for the pix Judy...I'll check em out again later. I remember seeing some and thought they were yours. What cruise line do you use? What is your fav ship? There are so many damn choices. I know we will upgrade for a private balcony for sure. I need some guidance. I just went to princess.com last night and was overwhelmed. We are watching Sign of the Beaver because we just finished reading the book. I have a meeting on prep, a meeting after school...and then this afternoon, Susanne and I meet w/ Dr. Ordin!! I told you about him from that show, The Doctors on CBS. I am excited to hear what he thinks about the eye lift! I'll share later. BBL

Hey Girlies~ We worked out for 1.5 hours today!!! I can barely type...all upperr body. OMG. It felt good to get back to it after being sick last week. Then we went to copy my ch. 4 and 5 to mail to committee tomorrow. Other than that, we are finally going to see The Reader w/ Kate Winslet! I have wanted to see her two movies for a long time. She hopefully will win an award on Sunday! I love her! It is rainy here...Sus has Goulash in the crocker...and life is pretty good. Jane...thanks again so much. You are sooo sweet. Hey Violets~ Slept like a baby and had a dream about my diss! LOL...too funny. Yes Terry, this has been an 8 year journey. Many ups and downs, quits and starts...plenty of tears and popcorn. You wouldn't believe my eating yesterday. I sat here 7 hours working and ate and munched all day. Finally made popcorn which I rationalize as ok because I drink so much water (w/ CL) when I munch popcorn. Also, it should be mentioned that it is low fat/low cal...low taste popcorn, no butter no salt. Terry, my next steps are waiting for feedback from committee (but once the chair approves it...edits are moderately minor), work on abstract, table of tables, table of contents, more edits...and then my chair sends out available dates for me and the committee to meet to defend the dissertation. I meet w/ them...they drill me w/ questions, they ask me to leave the room, I go outside and cry, then they ask me back and GOD WILLING...they say, "Congratulations Dr. K!" Most people will have pass w/ minor or major edits...but the key word is pass! Then I am a doctor. Whew...sounds so easy doesn't it! We have a busy day today. Going an hour away to go to the comminsary (sp) to shop, out to breakfast, home order cake for niece's party, then at 4 we go to her softball party. Then at 5:45ish, we go to Boomers (a kid place w/ bumper cars, video games, boats, etc) for niece's party. Gotta go do some online work...neglected it this week w/ diss stuff. I am to fix a few grammatical things and make some VERY small changes and send them out to the committee. OMG. I can't stand it! I worked on this from 8-3 today, started my Table of Contents too. And now...I can barely breathe. Even though it is 8:15, and I don't normally work well this late...I am going over to the other puter to work now. Happy Valentines to all my sweeties! We have a banner day planned...dissertation, leftovers, and Susanne taking one more day to get better. We will try to go out of the house tomorrow. I did wake up to coffee in bed and a beautiful and personal card. We promised to not get any gifts. A few years ago, she bought me a personalized perfume bottle. It is one of my most cherished gifts it looks so pretty on my perfume mirror! OK...gotta run! xooxox

Because I have been taking decongestants, I can't have the test for 10 days (and due to scheduling conflicts). I just pray I don't get sick again in the mean time! Off to chill. I just got word from my chair and I STILL HAVE F%^&ING EDITS...OMG...really??? So, going to veg out and watch tv tonight...will hit it in the morning!

Morning Chicas~ HAPPY V-D! In case no one tells ya that...I just did! We have no "real" plans. Susanne is sick now, and am barely not sick. Our friend, Stef, her bf is out of town...so we were going to have a 3 way date and go to the local fair and then out to lunch or dinner. Our local Date Festival starts today. I've never been in 29 years of being in the desert. It is about 20 miles away...and it gets pretty scary after dark w/ tons of gang people. We'll go in the daytime. They have deep fried EVERYTHING. Deep fried snickers, twinkees, churros...the list goes on. every year people yap about the all the fried food. Sorry...that just sounds an IMODIUM MOMENT to me...no thanks. I am nervous today about going back to work. I have that special child...which I will refer to him as ZR from now on...and I have been out of the class for two days. Totally agree sistah! And the more press she gets, the more sympathy $$ and charity she'll get. It is like w/ Paris Hilton and other USELESS little NOBODYS...if we stop watching them and paying attention to them...they will go away. The state should make her give up some of those babies for adoption...to parents who can afford to feed them.

Hey Girls~ Well I just got in from taking down 19 of my 20 pine window hangers...I want to maintain my Yokel status (I am in very good company), but I don't want to over do it! Actually, now that I dont smoke...and smoke in the car...my car smells like leather and my seatbelt smells like expensive perfume! I love it! The one day I am trying to keep up w/ the Violets from my cell phone (trying to stay awake in my meeting) you all chatted up 3 pages worth! My eating sucked today. If it wasn't nailed down...I ate it! Fatty McFat Fat rides again. I haven't worked out at the gym all week either because of the cold. Susanne is sick now and we cancelled our trainer tomorrow because we don't feel good. But the shit stops here. New day and a new week starts on Sat. Suzie~ Welcome to our humble little group. I love NC and all my father's family and father are from Goldsburro! I've been many many times and we always would vacay at Holden Beach!!! Good morning girls~ I am just a bit better due to a good night sleep and not coughing all night. I took 2 PM's and slept good until 3:30...then was up for an hour thinking of my new "special" kid. I am out again today (3 days in a row) due to another meeting. I hope he is settling in ok...the unknown is killing me. I have an appointment w/ an ENT tomorrow at 2:30. Hopefully I am suffering w/ my LAST sinus infection. After my meeting today I am getting my "do" done. It has been 6 weeks and you wont believe my gray hair! Have a great day everyone! Yesterday I was thinking about how much fun we had at the bar in Gruene. OMG...what a hoot that was. Those drinks (what were they called) kicked ass...a bit rot gut...but good all the same. We had a blast! Wish Tracyk was w/ us. Then...didn't we do a Sonic or Jack in the Box drive through at like 2am??? I remember taking pix of my "girls" and putting them on Jane's phone! hahahahaha...good times!
