Janie, I have never seen it...but want to! Yes...they are all old; well actually older celebrities and "show folks". The show they put on is AMAZING...a friend of mine just saw it last week. I would love to take MIL...they would get a kick out of it. Sus bought me a beautiful pair of earrings today for graduation (which means I wont get 'em until May). They are 1.5 K diamond sparklers...set in 24 K gold. I love them...and can not wait to wear them! Have a nice afternoon...well, I guess it is night now!

Morning, Sus is feeling a bit better. Her mom came in yesterday from Phoenix (4 hours) because she was sick. We went to dinner and now out to breaky! MIL is then leaving. Sus and I are going shopping later...I need to buy something for the wedding next weekend! Plus, I get like this "cash back" thing from Gottschalks from last year for $146 FREE dollars!!! So that will help a lot! My cash back expires on the 10th!!! Terry~ I have that fridge. It is called french doors where the top two doors open and all the food is up...w/ a freezer drawer on the bottom. The freezer pulls out and then there is an inner drawer too! I love the top part...you can see ALL THE FOOD...plus the veggie and fruit drawer is clear...you can see. There is this egg and lunch meat drawer too. OH Yeah...My brother is my best friend now...couldn't imagine life w/o him! He did however, at one point, hold a BB gun to my face and said, "Take me to the store bitch...NOW!" After I told my mom, and he hasn't seen that gun since. Gotta go and eat! xoxo

Hey ladies, I had an interesting day! Went to a conference, CUE: Computer Using Educators and the first session was a course in Second Life! I feel soooo old! At least it wasn't in the naught clothing store in the mall...it was on ISTE island (ever hear of it Laura?) ISTE is the International Society of Technology for Educators (or something like that). Anyway, we watched a group of students news papers on ISTE Teen island or something...hahaha...WTH??? Then I went to my allergist and am now trained in giving myself shots at home! Kinda scary...but at least I don't have to go in there weekly, and 2x a week for the first couple of weeks. So...I am doing my own shots, and the one I gave myself today is already bruised...haha! Tommorow is sitting in meetings! I am kinda looking forward to it cause I am wearing sweats and a t-shirt! Totally casual! That is of course after I meet w/ the trainer at 5am!:cursing: Tomorrow is Susanne's birthday! Don't have any specific plans...maybe a movie on Sat. She is kinda sick today, so we will wait and see. I have a conference tomorrow, then no students and meetings on Friday! Kinda cool...at least I am tricking myself into thinking it is Friday! I am AMAZED at how much I got done yesterday. Just bam bam bam...things were done. Plus cooked dinner (pork chops and zuccinni, brussel sprouts and salad). I learned that at 41...I don't like brussel sprouts:puke:. Morning Ladies~ It's 3 degrees out there! brrrrrrrrrr OMG...I would die! Today it is gonna be 85! But then while you enjoy warm mild summers, we suffer w/ 115+. I will be checking my phone for baby texts! Please someone text me! Today, my nieces and nephew are coming over. We are technically "sitting", however, I prefer the term "hanging out with some of my favorite people". We are going out to breakfast, then bowling. Then Sus starts her new softball season and we will go to the park for the season kick off! Then my SIL will pick them up there about 3ish! That is our day! I am finishing a term for Walden today, and starting another one tomorrow...so later is grading papers! We are narrowing the dates for my defense and I will let you know when I do...cross your fingers for April 8th! Tracy, hopefully the car issue will go away. Can't believe it is almost noon and I am just getting on the puter. Was pissed last night about the site...missed you all! We woke up and went to the gym, then we went to this farmers market and bought a ton of fresh veggies!!! Can't wait for dinner! Then we had Breakfast there (the farmers market is at our "artsy" theater and they have a great cafe). I had a great veggie omlette w/ zuccini, squash, spinach, tomatoe, onion, mushroom and mozzerella! MAN THAT WAS SO GOOD. Gave Sus the potatos that came w/ it. We came home I cut up strawberries and blackberries (ready for the week!) then we played w/ the dog...tried to brush his teeth; too funny...he did not like it! Then showered and popped on here. I am putting my face on and then going to the Black History Month festival. I am sitting in a booth for the Human Rights Comission. It is BEAUTIFUL out...actually a bit hot at 85, but it is nice! I will be checking phone...if someone could text me if we have a Madison or a Grady! Jen, thanks, I got the diet last night! Damn site was down for a few minutes...almost started texting Judy about baby news! I LOVE the name Madison Rose...just beautiful! 10 fingers 10 toes is beautiful too! Thanks for the compliment too! Heather, as for LBT, this is my only thread now. I can not go into Rants and Raves...just feel life is too short to engage in such ugliness. The violets are the only thread for me! I initially FLUNKED out of college...seriously. Was kicked out of dorm, had to move home...it was bad. My parents were beyond livid because going to college was never an option for me...more like a mandate. After living w/ a LOSER and starting to live a VERY shady life...ending up in restraining orders and domestic violence offices...I decided I was not really cut out for this "white trash" lifestyle. So, at 23, I moved home w/ mom, went to the junior college, raised my grades and was on Dean's List for 3 semesters...until University of Nevada, Reno let me back in. With the exception of taking one year off after BS degree and one year off after Master's degree...I have been going to school straight since I was 23! Man, I am tired just typing it, lol! I feel strong, healthy and beautiful...albeit 260 beautiful...but beautiful all the same! Last night, my friend defended her diss! She is now a doc...and I am so proud. She catered dinner and it was a great night! I am so proud of her...she is my diss buddy and we did this together! Oh yeah...the allergy test. I had 9 SERIOUS punctures...each one has 8 pricks. Hurt like HELL. She said, you are not allowed to complain with this big tattoo...but she went A LOT deeper than the tat! The test looks at 72 different things...I am allergic to EVERYTHING! Dog, grass, trees, etc. I have to have shots for now...2x a week for 2 weeks and then 1x a week for a year or more! Plus, I am having a "procedure" in my nose on the 10th! I am NOT HAPPY...but hate the idea of being sick again...I've missed a lot of work this year, and hat that! Anywho..that is my story!

Hey Girls, Man the site was down again tonight...hate that! We went to mass (my school secretary and I ) tonight. It was nice. I did not give up chocolate but not for the failure part. I gave that up as a child...and wanted to do something more meaningful. For Lent, I am going to say a rosary once a week, go to confession during Lent, do something nice for someone once a week, and TRY to go to mass once a week. The last one is hard...I am very busy and sorry to say, Sunday's are not always good for me. But I am focusing this Lenten season on feeding my spiritual self. Tomorrow after school, I am driving 80 miles to watch my disseration "buddy" defend her diss!!! I am soooo excited for her!
