Buenos Dias Violetas~ Happy Hump Day! I know I mentioned I love cardio, but I also learned I love sleep too! We usually take Wed off from the gym, but kinda wanted to go today (it is my wash hair day...I like cardio on that day). Anyway, I opted for sleep...and now need more sleep. Morning Girlies~ I agree...kinda quiet around these parts. Back from the gym! Yea me! I agree Terry, it completely helps me sleep. Actually, I am a better teacher when I work out. My energy level is up, and this transfers to the lessons and the students. Usually I take Wed. off, but I want to go tomorrow so I can do cardio...I am loving cardio! Hate doiong it...but love how I feel the rest of the day. HAHA...yes me, the former heavy smoker saying "I am loving cardio!" Glad you liked the pix. Felt great just to clean up the camera. Had pix from "waybackwhen" and now I have a clean card! I loved the one of Sus and I at the wedding (I am wearing black and white). Hi Girls~ I just emailed everyone (I hope everyone) some pix from the wedding and one from Sat. night! Please let me know if you don't get 'em...and if you want 'em. I ordered over 400 pix tonight...and I FINALLY DELETTED MY CARD!!! AAAHHH...still had xmas pix on there! I feel sooo much better. I am putting an album together for Susanne's coach and so I've taken tons of pix and bought some softball stickers at Michaels this weekend. Should be cute, but hella expensive!!! Morning Girlies~ Michelle (and any Violet) the party on May 30th is at Rob and Charles' house (celebrity house)...AND I WOULD LOVE A LITTLE VIOLET TO POP UP! Judy...I think I missed it but how long do you cruise to Hawaii? How long are you there? Do you cruise back? I saw in the last post you had some "day stuff" planned there, but do you ever stay on the islands? My dad sailed in the Pacific Cup in 91 from San Fran. to Hawaii. His wife flew over and had a huge celebratory dinner then decided to be on the crew to sail back. It took him 16 days to get there, and took her 23 days to get back! 14 days until spring break here! That means 13 more painful alarm days. It went off at 4:30 today and I freaked out...and reset it until 5:30. Naughty but I am pooped and unpoopular! xoxooxxo:thumbup:

Hey Girls~ What an outstanding weekend! I need one more day though just to get over the weekend! We had a great day yesterday at the tennis...then the party! 2 vodka/crans after all day in the sun and I SLEPT LIKE A BABY! I looked sooo cute too because we had some good sun yesterday and I wore this orange top. I got great pic too which I will post soon. I need to get some pix off the camera before I sync cam to puter. Was gooing to go today but was stormy and yucky. Anyway, today we woke and watched our show Sunday Morning and I thought of you Michelle! Was a lazy day here but was just sooo great to be w/ Sus and chill. I didn't have any diss work or Walden...loved that! We are still on the fence w/ Alaska. 5k each is A LOT OF $ and we have had many a heated discussion about it. SSSOOOO we are still in talks. Our friend Charles is a travel agent and said it could do it for half that cost. I am just TOO busy to worry about it. Want to pay and go. Soooo we will see. We need to have this settled on by this week. Other than that, I have been working on my grad party. It is May 30th if anyone wants to come. Details to follow...which has been another sore point w/ us. I was going to do a banquet thing...but that was $23 each. I was thinking of close to 100 people, but for that price...FORGET IT! So...we are still working on this too! Too much to do/think about. I LOVED BIG LOVE TONIGHT! Sad it is over until next year...but what a great show! What else is going on? Busy week ahead. No Janie~ Spring Break starts on 4-10 (Good Friday) here. I am staying home all week and will defend on Wed of the week. Sus is going to Phoenix to see her mom and so she wont even be w/ me when I defend. That is fine cause I will be swamped getting ready for the defense then will work on revisions after. We did start our Alaska planning yesterday w/ our travel agent! Should finalize that next Tuesday. Shocked at how expensive the trip is...1200 more than going to an all inclusive island for 8 days in FIJI!! Oh well...can't take it with you, right!

I love it! Another day at work today! It was nice to take yesterday off, cause Wed felt like Friday and now today really is! Two Fridays in one week...pretty cool! Going to reserve our party banquet room (my friend who is finishing her Master's degree and I are throwing a party together) for May 30th today, then getting pedi's! LOL, I was just spouting off about the hair. It is too long and hasn't looked good for a week now. I go next week, but really need him sooner. I did a good blowdry is all! Yes it is 90 here...and I work inside a classroom, in the middle hall w/ NO WINDOWS. So...so much for that. I have a butt load of work on diss tonight. I am taking tomorrow off and driving into La Verne to drop my bound copies, $, application for graduation, cap and gown stuff, etc! So I need to seriously polish. I AM STARTING TO FEEL PRESSURE...wish I didn't have my second job now. Oh well...I worked until 9:30 grading papers last night so I could have today free for diss! I WANT A TROPICAL VACAY LIKE HAYDEE! OXOX

Thank you for the email and I am sorry I didn't respond personally but I am proud of you...you are beautiful and fantastic and this has nothing to do w/ your weight. I have not done the weight loss thing well, but I think we all need to remember that the number on the scale DOES NOT MAKE US THE WOMEN WE ARE. We all have far more value than some stupid number. So you lose some, gain some...shit happens. But enjoy life, your families (Frank's days off), your health, and all the gifts God has granted all of us! Plus, how lucky are we all to have our Violets? (taking my fat ass off the soap box now) Just got home from the gym! I am sooo proud of myself...I did 30 full min of cardio...on the bike, not the treadmill!!! NEVER have I done that. Before Jan. I would do 2 miles. The last couple months, I would do 4 miles, and today I decided to raise the bar. 6 miles in 30 min!!! I was sweating like a pig...but now I've showered and feel great! LOve the pic Judy...he is a keeper' for sure! Busy day here. Kids are watching a vid on Manatees...cute! I am feeling much better today. I was NOT happy last night, and slept like shit. I peed 4x...I think it was the steroids I am on now. Which scares me...I can eat tons on roids! One week is all...but that is a week of shitty sleep and food...lawd help me. Last night we had cuban pork (from a grandma of one of the brides) steamed asparagus and green salad. Sus had the rice and black beans that grandma made w/ the pork...but I can't do rice. It was good! OK..enough for now...xooxoxox
