Morning Ladies~ No 1/2 a pie...lol...1/2 of an 1/8 of a slice, so like a 1/16. Now if it were pumpkin pie, we would be having a different conversation. Another day around here. One good thing is the ONLY thing I have to do afterschool is one meeting on Wed. I like weeks like this. Last week, I had 3 appointments during the Mon-Thur and it makes for a long day. We are going to see Melissa Ethridge on Thursday night! It is the Dinah Shore Weekend and LESBIANS ARE EVERYWHERE! Not only is there a major golf tourney, but there are dozens of pool parties, bar parties, and downtown is packed! We are not participating in all of the festivities, but are going out to dinner Sat at a very gay swanky place...then going dancing at a fun club! Should be a fun night! I need a ride! I can sit on Carson's lap...or he can sit on mine...either way, I am easy! Perhaps we need to all go in on renting a van or something????? How far is airport (or Laura's house) to where we are staying? Can Russ be our designated driver? I am sure he would love to drive the "paddy wagon" full of drunk Violets AND a preacher's wife w/ a dirty mouth! hahaha...getting 'cited now!

Jane, you cracked me up! It is always far to quiet in here on the weekends! Susie, glad you had fun. I loved the concert! The audience sings every song! Yesterday was great! Out to breaky at a outside cafe, then to a dog show thingy in the park. It was all rescue dogs and they had the cops K9s, big ones, little ones...it was great! The sun was shining and it was just so beautiful to be outside w/ my sweetheart! We came home about 2pm, watched TV, napped, made a great dinner, watched Rachel Getting Married (good, but perhaps not for everyone), then went to bed! Michelle, I slept on and off during the Sunday morning show...but thought of you! Today is grading papers, then Susanne has a game at 3:15. I need to take some shorts back to get a smaller size...and then I think we are having Chinese food w/ some friends after the game (not quite sure on that plan). We have the windows open, the breeze is warm and fresh and Lifetime movie is on the TV...LIFE IS GOOD! XOXOXOXOXO have a great day!

Why is everyone talking so loud? Kidding...well sort of! We had sooo much fun, and wowser 4 of us finished off a large bottle of Kettle One Vodka! I swear though, good booze=good buzz=good morning! It is not so bad. Was home at midnight, and was up at 6:30. I did skip gym (Sus is there now) but I tweaked my shoulder/neck yesterday lifting weights, and just didn't feel like getting out of my PJ's yet! I cant believe ya'll are talking snow. I think we are about 78-80 today (which is actually the result of a "cold front"). WE HAVE NOTHING PLANNED!! I have to mail some stuff and i think we are going to movies! Have a great day! xoxoxoxo

Hey Ya'll~ Terry, that was beautiful! Even though I do not have kids, I loved it and think it was nice for Judy as well as other violets to read! TracyK, have fun on your getaway! Michelle, enjoy your "do" getting done! While my color is on my guy always gives me a hand massage (hand job) w/ lotion...I LOVE IT! It helps relax me! Susie~ My Gawd woman...how many personal trainers do you have? You are the exercise guru of the group! I met w/ my trainer today...he is just soooo cute! We worked shoulders and chest today and dabbled w/ biceps! He said repeatedly, "you are looking good..." I have not weighed because i don't care what the number says (and it is usually the same of freakin number anyway) but I KNOW my body has changed...clothes feel differently...posture has improved...and most importantly, my attitude and self confidence have increased 10-fold! WOOHOO! After work, we are going to Jackie and Melissas w/ some other friends (all girls and mostly lesbians) for a LEMON DROP WII PARTY! Jackie is making cuban food, and Melissa is making lemon drops! Should be fun...and I can really use a drink or 3 (perhaps 5):smile2::thumbup: HAPPY FRIDAY GRILLS!

I am in on the phone tree thingy, BUT there are hours in my day when I don't see or hear my phone...so I might be a better reciever than a giver of the Carson info! Serious drama today. One student (not in my class) threatened to "kill" the girlfriend of one of my students w/ a pocket knife...AND...we have two new kids (8th gr) from a BAD town...who have new tattoos on their hands. BIG ONES TOO! The tattoos say, "BROWN PRIDE" AND "NATIVE PRIDE". These kids are scary. I am sooo pissed about it, actually a little nauseated by it. What if I had WHITE PRIDE on my hand? Would that be allowed? If not, why should a white or black teacher be forced to teach these f%^kwads? PissedpissedPissed! Judy...so sorry to hear about your news. Hey Chicas~ Where the hell is Haydee? We went to the gym, but let me tell you 4:30 was just mean this am. :tt2::cursing::tt2: I could not fall to sleep last night because Sus put the flannel sheets on again, and I am TOO FREAKIN HOT! She is bundled up like an eskimo and I am sans clothes, on top of the sheets completely uncovered and sweating like I was on a tropical island w/ Judy:rolleyes:. Anyhoo...when the alarm went off I was DEAD! Walked around here for a few min with my eyebrows raised so high...this was to give the illusion that my eyes were open:eek:. 30 hardcore min of cardio...and I feel MUCH BETTER! Getting my "do" done today!!! It is too long. Then we are going downtown to have dinner w/ Rob and Charles! Trying to make it early cause we have our trainer at 5am tomorrow! Tracyk...I think zooming around on a 4 wheeler is exactly what the doctor ordered for you. It sounds fun and I look forward to hearing about it! Glad you like the postcards Michelle...I LOVE vintage Palm Springs pix etc! The City Hall has great pix from the early 20th century...and from long before the town was established. We are basically a "new" town, only really being developed in the 30's -50s. Hell, there are areas now that were just desert when I was growing up.
