We have power! We went out last night and had soooo much fun...and a few too many! WOOHOO...love the Dinah Shore weekend! Went to dinner at DINKS (Duel Income No Kids) and then walked across the street and got our groove on! I love dancing w/ Sus...they were playing some really groovy music! Had more drinks! They had girl and guy go go dancers...and that was hysterical! Just had a blast! Came home and the power had come on at 10pm!!! So today is make up for the weekend w/ laundry, etc! Have a great day!

Good Morning Girlies~ The concert rocked..and I am so glad I went last night! We had a great night, dinner then the concert! She was billed as "Live and Alone" and it was just her, and many guitars, and a piano! Susanne cried through half of the songs, and I cried through a few. She is an amazing story teller and it was beautiful. You know someone is talented when they entertain you (an entire venue) with ONLY her voice. No fan fare...no fire works...just her, and I could not take my eyes off of her. I am actually a better person for having gone...changed forever! She will be back on April 1, 2010 if anyone wants to come out! Well, although I had a great night...I was feeling pretty bad. It is my allergies...and my neck and nose and head and omg...the pressure. I am off today!!! I will be getting back in bed and taking a nappy! It was 85 on Mond and today is going to be 73 and very windy...spring in the desert = allergies:cursing: Have a great day...

So far it is just me. This sucks. I am going to try to call AA and see if they have something else. I don't want to miss out on Sunday night, and I dont want to get up that freakin' early to take a cab to HSV :smile2:

OMG...my airlines just decided to change my trip details???WTF??? Not happy. I leave Huntsville at 7am on Monday morning? I will need to get to the airport and stay at a hotel I guess? Anyone else leaving at the butt crack of dawn and want to get a room w/ me? I can't...wait maybe I can access the trip doc from school... brb

Cant load the vid from school:thumbdown::wink: I am NOT IN THE KNOW...but I watched (yep..watched the whole thing) my sil get induced. She got some meds; the doc reached in and "popped" the water bag; the doc said, "I bet he will be here at 6pm!" got her epidural; SLEPT THROUGH HER CONTRACTIONS and only her toes would curl when she would have one (all afternoon); at at 5:40 they said she was dialated enough...and my cutie patootie popped out at 6:04pm! Easy breezy. Wendy told my bro..."go get me a cheeseburger!" And the rest is history! I am sick...and feeling sicker as the day rolls on:scared2: Hope I can make the concert, but I am making lesson plans for tomorrow!

Morning Girls~ Where the hell is Michelle?? I guess she is off signing autographs! I can't believe Judy missed a violet on national tv! Damn...perhaps she can google it or it could be pulled from you tube. Busy day here. We worked out...and I am jazzed, I am up to pulling 75 pounds (far different from lifting). That is pretty cool since when I started I was pulling about 30 pounds! I could barely get through 3 sets of biceps at 10 lbs (big difference). Anywho...we are going to Melissa Etheridge tonight. Not really happy about it being on a school night (lawd, how old am i?) but it should be fun! We already cancelled the trainer in the am...and will try to sleep in until about 6am! Can't wait to hear from Michelle! Can't wait to hear from Tracyk, Terry and Haydee too...so jealous ya'll are going to lunch! Can't wait until Friday! OH yeah, we are having a free consultation w/ a dog trainer Sat am! Klaus is about to be tame...haha! He doesn't know he is a rottie...he just thinks he is my baaaaby! Have a great day! xoxo

Laura, Last week Adam sang Tracks of My Tears (it was Motown week). He dressed differently and it was all 'unplugged'...it was awesome! I am going to download his last 3 weeks on ITunes!

Laura, if you induce a week early...that will be in 2 weeks! I am sure you already figured that out...but I am just "getting it" and am soooo excited about it! I defend 2 weeks from today (AAAHHHH!:thumbdown:) and you could deliver 2 weeks from tomorrow! WHAT A GREAT WEEK THAT WILL BE! TracyK~ I wanna meet tomorrow for lunch! Well, I woke up feeling crappy...and I called my chiro @ 7am and told them on the machine they need to squeeze me in at 9:45ish. Everyday i get a prep period for an hour (and this year, it is backed up against my lunch) and so my friend and I are going to run to the doc, then go to lunch. I know it is early for everyone else in the world, but we eat lunch daily at 10:30! That is why I am usually starving at 2pm when school is out! BBL

I make a good spaghetti sauce if Laura will show me how to cook and prepare spaghetti squash. Actually can you show me whether or not I make the sauce...always wanted to learn!

My friend from work, my former teaching partner, is really suffering now. Last week, her 23 yr. old son was walking w/ his Ipod in and was hit by a SUV! He was airlifted to UC Davis (he was in No. Cal) and had 3 surgeries last week on his aorta, his brain and something else. Well, all the doctors had a big meeting today w/ Kelly and determined he will not recover and has a 10-25% chance to live a year. I can not imagine what she is going through...I am heartbroken for her. No mother should ever have to make these decisions or deal w/ this! I am requesting some prayers and purple power for Kelly and her son Danny!

Susie, good luck tomorrow. I think I missed something...where and what are polyps? Hope it goes well...as well as it can. How many stitches? At least DH will have to baby you for a while. Milk it for all it is worth! xoox

Haydee, so good to see you back! Our spring break is a bit of a sore subject at home. I was hoping to defend my diss the week before, and wanted to go to Sedona and Phoenix during break. NOw I am defending my diss on the Wed of the break (smack dab in the middle) so Susanne is going to Phoenix to hang and help her mom and I am staying here. I will drive into the LA area the night before I defend and get a room so I don't have to deal w/ traffic on the day of. Then after I defend, I will be at home working on revisions. My goal is to have it ALL done before we come back to work. So there it is! Next year...something awesome I hope!
