Heather, I saw your FB pix...that for clarifying. I was hoping that I didn't offend you (like ever in the past). Are you Turkish? My mom went to high school in Ankra (sp) for 3 years because gpa was an American Diplomat for the military. I love the salad, and variations of it. Of course, in my house, we use minced garlic, som balsalmic or red wine vinegar, oregeno and basil. I could go for some now!

First up is deciding EXACTLY what I'll wear at graduation??? I am thinking black nice capris and some dressy shirt. I have cute black and white low heels. This will look good under the gown, which drops at mid calf. Otherwise, I look like a judge. I need to be beautiful, relaxed, and try to stay cool. Gonna be hot as hell under the gown w/ velvet and the cap! Then I need a pedi, wax, now hair color, to clean the house because my step mom and susanne's parents will be here (wish I didnt let the maid go, I have not cleaned the house in over 4 years!). AAAHHH...starting to get all freaked out! Pop in later! have a great day!

I love Bruce! Would not say he is fav and I don't own any CD's but what a classic addition to Americana! Have fun! And in just 2 weeks from today you will be packing (which at 105 degrees shorts only...even for the party, EVERYONE WEARS SHORTS) for your trip!

Hey V's~ Just got home from La Verne! I got my cap and gown...went to the meeting...drove back w/ my principal. I came home and tried on my cap and gown! I danced around the closet (well, you know that is doable). ANYWAY...I LOVE IT! The doctorate one is cool...w/ velvet! The shoulders are sculpted (for lack of a better word) and sit upon your shoulders. It is VERY FREAKIN' COOL! Yeah! Gotta check emails...see you in the am! OMG the pix of Carson on FB today was delicious! What a lover!

OMG...Judy and Laura, thanks for getting the one w/ a pool. Now, I gotta work on my bikini figure! HAHA

Letter to the editor was posted today...everyone can not believe it. I made a formal complaint with the city and the cemetery district. Not finished yet either. Not sure (and highly doubt) that I will make any great changes, but at least I am getting it out there. Anyone ever pb on tomatoes? I had 3 oz of tuna, a roma tomato and 1/2 an avocado w/ salsa for lunch. Damn tomato skins I think made me pb. ???

When I was doing the cereal, I put it Fruity Peebles in a plastic cup. When it is sweet cereal you don't need as much. But the milk helps you sleep. I am going to try the Special K choc...actually there are commercials out about having it at night to help the sweet cravings!

I heard of this trick a few years ago...and I think it works pretty good. when we get the nite-time muchies, have a bowl of cereal. You can have Special K or even a sweet cereal (Trix) or whatever. Specail K now has a chocolate cereal. The milk helps you sleep and you have far less calories than in a bowl of ice cream...even it is a big bowl. Wanna check out the choc. thing fo sho!

Hola Violetas~ Ready for a busy week! Today a meeting at City Hall for Human Rights Commission. Tuesday, conference call for Walden at 5pm. Wednesday, drive into La Verne w/ my asst principal to pick up my cap and gown and attend a meeting with him (80 miles one way and meeting starts at 6pm, so it will be a late night). Thursday, getting the "do" done. Friday, principal's retirement party!! That should be fun! Oh yeah...educate the future of tomorrow on top of all of that! Nap anyone?? I am still mad as hell about the cemetery (wink @ Judy). Going to call on my break today. My human rights have been violated and so I may take it up w/ the Human Rights Commission. All of my friends agree, and they have even experienced PICNICS ON THE GRAVES. If you can squeeze your entire family on a 6' x 4' area then great...but it is not appropriate to sit or eat on other spots. OK...back into my happy place! Morning Girls~ Terry, gald you had a great time yesterday. That is one thing I noticed was all the green in the mountains. Actually, I thought of you yesterday...how much I think you'd love this little artsy fartsy town! Happy Mother's Day to all the Momma Violets...and a special one to Laura. Waiting for an update...how did it go last night? Going to cemetary in a bit, then back home to chill-ax and work a bit on Walden. I would love to finish my book today, haven't had any reading time in 3 days. Sus has a game at 4...but other than that it is a quiet Sunday...I hope! Again...my sweet Mommy Violetas...enjoy! Hey girls~ We woke up and hit the ground running. Met w/ the trainer this am...and he kicked our ass. Total different energy working out at 8am then at 5am! We had a great time...and Michelle and Haydee will meet him in 3 WEEKS! Then we came home and played w/ Klausy, showered, then picked up Stef and drove up to Idylwild for lunch. Idylwild is this little hippy town in the mountains, with cool shops, cafes, gourmet treats, etc. I bought a few odds and ends and some gourmet treats for when the girls are here. Then we drove back down the hill (almost an hour drive) and went to see STAR TREK. It was great! Acutally it was funny too. It is Kirk and Spok as younger men. VERY WELL DONE. 2 thumbs up! Then we went to WallyWorld for flowers for the cemetary tomorrow, as well as misc stuff. Got home about 8pm...busy day, but fun and needed! See you 2morrow!
