Morning girls~ I can't vote today and I am ubber pissed about it too. I never got anything in the mail, even after changing my addy. Then a few weeks ago, I went in to the Post Office to "re-register". I still haven't gotten anything in the mail. I looked online and because my street is "new", it is not on any website to find a polling place. I did find a place using a nearby street (out of the complex) but my id has my PO Box and not a street addy...and because I have nothing in my hand to walk with I can't vote. Pissed pissed! Other than that, getting a physical right after school, then reading until Sus gets there for her drs appt. LOVING this book called ROOM: A Novel. OMG, what a ride! Thanks for the props Michelle! I am working out tomorrow and then again on Sat...so that is 3 days a week. I LOVE lifting weights, feel strong and sexy! Much better than cardio:biggrin:. Have a great day! xoxo

Morning girls~ Hope everyone had a fun and safe Halloween! We didn't have one doorbell, which is fine w/ us. Kinda just chillaxed all afternoon yesterday. Church was about All Saints/All Souls day, and I bawled! Yeah...good times! I typically HATEHATEHATE November! My boyfriend was killed, mom was diagnosed, dad died, grandma died, and just don't like it! But this time, I am excited! It will be when I get my surgery, and will finally be able to meet goals I've set for my weight loss. Surgery is in three weeks from today! My band has been soooo fucking tight (sorry, but it is such a pain). I can only eat crunchy stuff (granola bar, chips) or it is pb city. Last night I made meat spaghetti and I only had the sauce. I was able to get 1/2 a small bowl in and 1/3 cup of sal. It felt so good to finally eat something besides yogarts. I was 280 at the beg of the school year, and now am 271! So that is cool...but it is because I didn't eat ANYTHING Sat...and whatever did go in, came right back out! Working out after school today! Life is good, full, busy, happy. I am very blessed! Morning girls~ The car kinda just came about. I posted that I just bought a new car on FB, but that was from the office at the dealership. My Highlander needed a new battery, and had to be towed this past Wed. It needed new tires too! So, I just thought...well, let me take a look-sy and see what they got. Being a hybrid, I was going to start to have some expenses coming up in the near future w/ the hybrid battery. Plus, now that I am on the freeway a lot, the hybrid "thing" for me wasn't working. I got the 2010 Venza, which is a smaller SUV type. It has all the bells and whistles, nav and bluetooth! Since the Highlander was paid off, I had a good bargaining chip so to speak...and I got a great deal! And it is PRETTY TOO! I'll post pix later! Up and attem today! First is the gym, then drive to PS to find the title in my safety deposit box, then the screen guy is here, then we go back to Toyota to get the bluetooth and nav tutorial (it was 8pm and we were STARVING last night and wanted to leave). Then home to get ready for the Halloween party. Jane, walk in knowing exactly what you want when you buy a car. If you can, bring a man (sorry...it is true). But I knew exactly what I wanted, exactly what I could afford (no margins), and when they wouldn't "meet my expectations", I smile, extended my hand and said thank you. Well...all of a sudden, they could bend here and there!!! At first they offered 4.9%, and I laughed at that (I have nearly 800 credit score) and got it down to 1.9% with the extended and comp warranty. You gotta be firm:biggrin:! But yes, it is a pain in the ass! Michelle, did I miss a year or two...isn't DS a junior? Is that what you were talking about with the "early start"? I have to do 8 days liquid diet (he gives me),the two days (or one) clear liquids. Then after the surgery, I am on clear liquids in the hospital, then full liquids for 4 weeks. Goal by xmas is almost "doable"...can't imagine if I exceed it:biggrin::sneaky::ohmy::w00t:

Morning girls~ Haydee...you LOOK AMAZING!!! Sooo cute, I love the side pic, soooooo cute I wish I could see you! Paranormal Act. was great...but if you don't like scary movies you wont like it. It is a build up, I feel exhausted after seeing these movies! My car broke down yesterday! Had a big fight (well, I think we did) w/ Sus and she slept in the other room...not really sure what happened, but I can pretty well say that I was being an asshole and she got fed up with me! Gotta run...love you all! I am getting excited about the surgery, start liquids on the 12 or 13th!!! xoxooxxoox

Morning girls~ I wanted to post at the butt crack of dawn, actually way before dawn because I get too busy at work to jump in! I went to bed at 7:50 last night...and didn't move until 5am! My left hip is sore cause I didn't move...like literally, didn't turn over for 9 hours! Too tired, but today I feel better! Worked out Monday and will do a repeat today! I really wanna work on core strength, and weight training until the surgery. It is nice to not have to worry about cardio for a few weeks...it makes it nice to walk into the gym!:laugh: I SHOULD do the eliptical for my leg strength, but will do leg presses instead! Not much else going on...looking forward to a mellow weekend, just with a Halloween party on Sat. It is mandatory costume...and we will be rocking the pirates again (easy!). Almost finished with Freedom...actually at 93%. I really loved this book, love the complexity of Walter and Patty. I've already downloaded Room: A Novel. CAN'T WAIT FOR THAT! I think I remember...think! The class project I am raising $ for is for a $180 bulletin board. Welcome to public education! I didn't put it on FB cause I didn't want people making a judgement call on what is important in my class. I want a bulletin board and have already gathered 100 buckeroos for it!

Jane, when I was taking care of my mom, I "had no life" either...just her and gpa, work and school. I jumped into life when I could. Are you interested in getting involved with your city? Church groups? Volunteering? I know you don't have the time now, but even a little bit might put you out there and give you more. love youxoxoxoxo

Morning girls~ Michelle, once I was in for my annual, and on the ceiling, there was a sign that read, RELAX...IT IS ALMOST OVER...I had to LOL and always remember it! Not much to report...having some 3 peeps over tonight for football. BBQ'ing and bought the pot salad...easy! Going to the gym today for the second time since school started!!! Morning girls~ We had a blast last night! Went to Blame it on the Moon and had dinner (mushroom and spinach stuffed salmon and a margie) and then...went to see Paranormal Activity 2!!! It was scary and really well done! Today is church, grocery shopping and grading papers (much like every other Sunday). Michelle, I am glad you made it through...little girls do like to squeal a lot! I am here...busy day, minimum day, but busy!!! I got out at 11:30, after being in my classroom 12 hours yesterday. Came home, took a nap, and then we went to see Waiting for Superman! It was a very interesting movie. Then we went to Burgers & Beer and had two margies on an empty stomach (I've been sooo tight, cant eat much...and still fat). Came home and am enjoying my buzz... where the hell is everyone???? Have a great weekend! xoxoxo

WOW...that is early! We have 80+ all week! Enjoy, I'd love some good "bad" weather, some chili, the couch and a blanket...and the kindle! I have 20% of Freedom to go and I am dreading the end :biggrin:

Morning girls~ We are doing a LEA thing now (Lang. Experience Act.) and the kids are busy writing away. One of the kids brought in a bunny and so the kids do an observation and then do a creatvie writing act. I posted pix of MoMo the bunny on FB, but not sure if they have uploaded yet. Our Wifi is not cooperating today cause of the rain! Janie, EVERYONE loves to look good for the holidays. So, yes, I am sure you will be busy busy. And, perhaps in Feb things will look up! Michelle, mmmmmmmm your pumpkin thingy sounds divine. I have been tight lately...can't eat anything I am not supposed to (haha). Which is good I guess, not seeing any loss. Last night was a small salad and some chix sal. Susanne ate goulash and german noodles (sigh). I tried a bite the night before and pb'd my brains out. Oh well...not supposed to eat it anyway. Judy, thanks so much for the donation. Enjoy your restriction...did Bob get a fill too? I struggled w/ WW and the band...they want you to eat lots of fiber, etc...lots of stuff that the band didn't like. Morning girls~ Haha Michelle...the BEST advice my mom gave me (and I wish Susanne had learned this) is to assume EVERYONE ELSE WILL MESS UP! Driving defensively is key...and staying out of their blind spot is best. Sus stays in the blind spot and says, "they have to turn and look"...but soooo many don't! Good luck w/ the driving! Well, today is going to be 82ish...and I am wearing a full pair of jeans...first full pants of the season! Yesterday I wore capris, sandals and a sweater all day...my toes froze! I love this time of year! Not much else to report...still waiting to hear about the final approval from ins for the gb. I am crossing my fingers and toes and am not getting too excited until I know it is a full "go"! You know I'll keep you posted! Joining the Finance Committee at my church! I am waiting until Jan until I can try to get on the board of trustees. All is well on the left side of the country! Almost done w/ Freedom...don't want it to end! xoxoxo
