Michelle, everytime I look at your pix...I think of popcorn!!! I love popcorn (although it gives me gas TMI!!) I've got $550 in my pocket and am going to the PTG (like the PTA) president to get a check for our field trip to the Museum of Tolerance!!! I also mailed something more personal too...in the mail yesterday heading your way! I was SOOOO tired yesterday. OMG...I had a mtg at 7, duty at 7:20, big observation at 8, work all day, mtg at 2, mtg at 3 (City). I cancelled our dinner plans w/ Rob and Charles! I came home w/ a headache, drank a beer, ate some chips and salsa...then felt better. Graded papers, read the Kindle (still on Wishin' and Hopin') then went to BED. Today, I am coming home at 2 and getting all xmas cards done, then hopefully getting them in the mail today too. I've never been this late...ususally I have them out the Monday after Thanksgivign! Susie, so sorry to hear this...I can't believe that about reverse payments. I'd say "oh well" but you need your doc! What a mess. Here is to a 2010 that is better suited for you! Where do you live? I NEED A RECEIPE FOR A COOKIE EXCHANGE PARTY NEXT MONDAY. I have to make 6doz cookies...and dont have a clue. I MIGHT make sopapilla cheesecake and cut it into small "cookie size" pieces. Let me know if you have an EASY cookie receipe...key word is easy! Off to grade the last 6 papers! xoox

Happy Holiday to All Once again this Holiday season I've been besieged with so many requests for my famous Tequila Christmas Cake recipe that I'm sending it along. This is a wonderful recipe for a cake you can use in entertaining relatives, friends or total strangers for Christmas, New Year's Eve or for that fact any other occasion!! Have a happy and safe holiday and remember - please eat responsibly. Tequila Christmas Cake 1 cup water 1 tsp. baking soda 1 cup sugar 1 tsp.. salt 1 cup of brown sugar Lemon juice 4 large eggs Nuts (walnuts, or pistachios are perfect) 1 bottle tequila 2 cups dried fruit Sample the tequila to check quality. (I already sampled it.....several times to check the quality) Take a large bowl, check the tequila again. To be sure it is of the highest quality, pour one level cup and drink. Repeat. Turn on the electric mixer. Beat one cup of butter in a large fluffy bowl. Add one teaspoon of sugar. Beat again. At this point its best to make sure the tequila is still OK. Try another cup...just in case. Turn off the mixerer thingy. Break 2 legs and add to the bowl and chuck in the cup of dried fruit. Pick the frigging fruit up off the floor. Mix on the turner. If the fried druit gets stuck in the beaterers just pry it loose with a drewscriver. Sample the tequila to check for tonsisticity. Next, sift two cups of salt. Or something. Check the tequila. Now shift the lemon juice and strain your nuts. Add one table. Add a spoon of sugar, or somefink. Whatever you can find. Greash the oven. Turn the cake tin 360 degrees and try not to fall over. Don't forget to beat off the turner. Finally, throw the bowl through the window. Finish the tequila and wipe counter with the cat. CHERRY MISTMAS!

Morning girls~ We are so excited...we are getting Klausy trained!! Or, we are being trained to control Klausy...one of the two! He is a wonderful dog, and worth the investment (huge cost...priceless results). Our goal is to have him come in and watch TV and sleep w/ us. We both (especially me) were SOOOO hungover yesterday. I have not been that hung in a very long time. The party was a blast...really warm and wonderful evening! There are pix on fb. But Saturday was rough. The trainer guy was here 2.5 hours talking and working w/ Klaus (this was just the demo) and we were starving and just staring at him, lol! We went to Billy's for grub! Today ( I am procrastinating) I have a buttload of papers to grade, cards to get out, and stuff to do. Michelle, hope you NC trip has been fun...and that you found Mr. Sandman. Judy, my friend who got the band has lost 140 lbs!!! Hate and love her at the same time. She drinks a shake in the am, yougart for lunch then small dinner...has not exercised once. I wish I could have more success...but I KNOW I am in charge of the intake...and the output. I will get another fill early Jan. I just had one, and it works, but I still am hungry. It was sooo bad yesterday w/ the trainer...you could here my stomach growling...loudly! OK...that being said...off to make breaky! xoxoxoxo

Morning girls~ I woke up at 4:27 and did I go to the gym???? NNNOOOOO! I laid there and worried about work. I am glad to be going back to work, except the books I am supposed to start teaching with, are not barcoded yet. I had to pick them up from the warehouse yesterday, run them to the library...and it is spelling bee day, so I wont get them until later. I have way too much on my mind w/ the party tomorrow, work, blahblahblah. Haydee, that is WONDERFUL news. Keep us posted... I have a funny pb story. I was at Wally world on sat w/ Sus. We were going to see the new movie Brothers (omg, that was sooo good) and grabbed a bite at mcdonalds. I got the crispy chick sand. and a fork and knife. I cut little bites (absolutely no bread) and was going to share Sus's fries. I got stuck on bite #2, and omg...it was NOT GONNA BE STICKIN' AROUND. I went outside to pb (can not do it in the toilet) and it was freezing and windy. I had to walk sooo far, to the side of the building. My mouth was full of slime...did not dare swallow it (that makes it worse for me)...I get to the side of the building and ppl are there...I face the corner of the building...and pb and slime and it is blowing in the wind...like a long string (really long). I go back in and give the chicken breast to Sus...take a sip of the shared diet coke, and told her to bring my purse when she finished...I was full blown puking in the Wally World parking lot. There are these parking islands w/ flowers growing and palm trees...I was hurling! LOL, we only have one Wally world and I was so scared I was gonna know someone...lol...pretty bad. Today I ate a salad, baked chips and I am starving now...I don't get it, but I am! Not head hunger...full on low blood sugar hunger and my stomach is growling.

Yeah Laura...I got a good fill Wed. Can't eat much...yet still fight to get it in? HHMMM? Wonder why? Michelle, you are nicer than I am. I get way butt hurt when people don't adhere to their "window" of arrival. As if I've got nuttin' to do. OK...off like a prom dress!

We've done that w/ the fouton in her apt., and the blow up mattress at our house...talked about it last week! I love it too...lay and watch tv and cuddle. It is raining here...just in case you were wondering. I can't wait to get home at 2:30 and make spaghetti and cuddle w/ my sweetheart. I only have 6 papers to grade, some tv to watch and some kindle to attend to. i love my kids and did an awesome lesson this morning...off the cuff too, nothing planned. they missed me too!

Oh yeah...we have our New Year's Eve plan...ready: WE ARE GOING TO GO SEE K C AND THE SUNSHINE BAND!!! It is a dinner show, we have this fancyschmancy dinner first then the concert!!! There is this huge dance floor too! Gonna put on our "Mymymymymy Boogie Shoes" and "Do a little dance, make a little love...and get down!" I am jazzed! It is at a local casino (well, about 20 min away)!!

Good morning~ We are under STORM WATCH 2009 again. Gonna be 58 today and rain an inch...and the first 15 min of the news is all about the storm. It is pretty funny actually. Not the storm but the way ppl in so cal react to the storm. In LA area, where there were bad fires, there is the chance for mud slides, which is not funny. Hope it is nice by Friday. I am having a little holiday party. I've invited about 8-9 lesbian couples over for cocktails and appetizers. Going to make terriacki (sp) chicken, egg rolls, (and maybe one other hot food) chips and salsa, maybe a beandip. Also, going to start chipping away at all that tequila I got for graduation (I got like 4-5 bottles of good stuff). Making margies, beer, wine, gin and tonics...can any violets make it? Even if your not a lesbian...YOU ARE ALL WELCOME! Got the house decorated...and now I am going to work on my iPod play list for the party (we just plug it into the Bose system). I graded 24 papers last night!!! I am 46% done w/ the Wally Lamb book (lol, don't know what page, but that is the tracker at the bottom of the page) and I love it! The mother just got back from California...haha! Judy, hope the knee is better...what is up w/ that cough? Jane,glad your knee is better! Michelle, I sent you a text late last night...glad to hear dh will be on the mend soon. Congrats to your son...you must be sooo proud (hell, I am proud and I've never met him) Laura and Haydee...what up? Heather and Susie...what up?
