Me again.. Jen just texted and she is taking a personal day today because of the sniffles, so no Ethan. Bob says he'll come home early. I have to write my entry 2 today and prepare for my lesson 3 video tomorrrow...I GOT MY TOOTH BACK ON!! I am ready! Was pretty good yesterday, but still managed to work in low cal ice cream. I make this great salad dressing, but boy o boy, afterwards i need something sweet. If I still smoked, it wouldn't be a big deal! But I dont! Here is to another day! Jack in the Box is giving away free grilled sandwiches today w/ the purchase of a large soda...dinner is done! wonder why i am fat? xoxo

mmmmmmmm MARGIES! I called my dad dad, daddy or pops! It is a southern thang too. Often I would hear my dad referring to my grandpa and would say, "I remember when my daddy would..." My dad had a big southern accent too. I loved hearing him talk...miss him now! piehole report: B-1/3c. cott cheese 1 granola bar S- yougart 110 cal L- Salad w/ 45 cal dressing baked doritos 110 cal. Trying hard. Gonna have another 300-350 cal dinner. These are frozen and they are chicken and pasta things. I will eat about 1/3 instead of a half, and have a little sal. w/ min. Going to get my tooth fixed today!

Laura, before you committ, make sure you "pop in" unexpectedly as well as your tour. Even if it is later that day or the next day...do it before you pay. I taught preschool (not daycare) for 5 years. You want an unexpected visit to see what goes on when they don't think anyone comes by. Are kids crying and not being tended to? Does the facility smell clean? What is the child/teacher ratio? Ask if the teachers have ECE (early childhood education) credits? These are things you will want to know before you sign up and pay money. The teachers don't HAVE to have ECE credits, but you want to know if they do, and that these are not just mommies who need a job. Keep us posted.

Hey chickies~ didn't do too bad today. B= kashi go lean, skim milk, banana L= 300 cal of garlic chix pasta thingy S= pretzles, i know i know D= salad w/ homemade dressing (got great olive oil when I was in Italy w/ Balsamic vin.) and a 1/4 c. cheddar, and 1.4 c. croutons w/ 2 tomatoes. yummy! Trying to do better. You know I start each day great...then down hill. Actually, I haven't tried in a long time. Working out Tues and prob. wed and fri (hope). have a great night!

Good Morning Girls~ Notice I haven't chimmed in on this topic...because I suck really bad now. I still have a band, so I can't clean my plate, but damn if I don't try. I did eat all my nachos from Denny's (sooo good) and a diet coke (all of it) and laid on the couch soooo uncomfortable. I need to actually diet. UUUGGG! In the middle of the night, I was thinking about doing the liquid diet again that I did before the surgery...just to get my shit under control. Just short of wiring my mouth shut. Usually, I have a better sense of control, but lately, I feel like I have no control. My life is swamped and packed and I have 1/2 a nostril out of the water. I am not really complaining, I signed up for all of this. But then it comes to food and anything goes! I need to get it right soon...feeling sick and fat. I watched my teaching video yesterday:eek:! I love the teaching part...I AM PRETTY GOOD! But just don't recognize that fat lady. I actually remind myself of Rosie O'Donell. My mannerisms, expressions, and intonations are spot on. As for the content...I am proud to turn it in. The lesson was good, the students were good, and the outcome was great! I have papers to grade today and go to the market. FOODFOODFOOD!!! OK...off to grade after a quick stop at facebook. loveyougirls!

update: OK, not pissed too much anymore. I danced and made her laugh. We are never mad too long at each other. I reminded her that she met me I was a single woman who had a maid. I am not lazy, but have 2 jobs and I hate to clean. She looks forward to it. The other day, I asked, "whatcha thinkin' about?" She said, "it wont really be hard to clean the new house!" WOW...I hadn't thought about that one at all. I hope we go to Shutter Island today! I walked the dog a mile, and did 25 min at the gym. Cleaned to poop...now grading papers while the towels dry! have a great day!

Hey Girls~ So glad it is Friday. Gonna be hard on Monday after having the last 2 off! We go to our new house today!!! We have to make appointments with the builder to get in now...so we are excited! Still trying to figure out about this house...what a PITA! I have to admit, I have not seen the O's as Michelle calls 'em, except for 20 of Shawn White's qualifying round. I usually enjoy them, but just can't get my head around them this year. Probably because we can't think about additional stresss now...and you know how you get all excited about someone winning. Well our house cheers for 2 countries! Anyway, hope I can watch some soon...I love the skating! Then about 6, we are meeting Rob n' Charles for tappas and cocktails! Haven't seen them in a long time...looking forward to it! OK...peaceout girlies...check in from work. I am meeting the guy from craigs list at our gym. Initially, I thought I would just go in and get the tix...but I am gonna now come home and change my clothes...and then go work out and get the tix. Fat Tuesday is the day before Ash Wednesday, which starts the beginning of Lent. Mardi Gras ends today (well in the middle of the night tonight), then all the Catholics start their Lenten period. That is when Jesus went for 40 days and 40 nights w/o food or water...that is why we give something up. off to do teenbiz3000 in the mac lab...hate mac puters.

Hey Violets~ Haydee, I've been meaning to email you back...just glad your HELL WEEK is over and here's hoping things settle a bit! Judy, thanks for reminding me about Lent...starts Wednesday and I've got to give up sweets. Problem is, I know I'll cave. Maybe I'll give up carbs...that is doable, well kinda. HHMMM...I need to think on this one. One year I gave up "curse words". I pulled out of mass and someone cut me off...and well, that was over too quick! Getting taxes done today, then taking a load of papers into the mortgage guy. Getting excited but having FREAK OUT MOMENTS!!! At least we are not fighting like last week. We fought more last week then in our entire 5 years together. I hope that "spurt" doesn't return...we are not really fighters. We just get pissy for a while, then 10 min later, one of us says sorry. HATE FIGHTING. I'm a lover, not a fighter! Other than that...I still have about 10 papers to grade...but I need to write 2 papers for my National Boards (WHY AM I DOING THIS AGAIN?) I am getting video tapped Wed., and need to have my shit together for it. Well, at least somewhat together and at least 1 paper done...can work on other paper next weekend after I grade ANOTHER 31 grad papers....wwwaaahhhhh!!! :hurray: OK...enough complaining!
