Morning Violets~ Laura- IT'S ME!!! I am Pamela. I should change my nic but then no one would know me. Kity is the name I use all the time for games etc. It started w/ GypsyKity, my sweet cat I had in college. Then it was too much, so I dropped to Kity. I play (religiously) scrabble at Quadplex (warning: don't go if you don't want to be addicted. Anyway, that is the story of Kity. I wish it was a better story...something like "it was my stripper name"...but no such luck. Kat~I had a dream about you. Susanne and I were on a road trip and we came to your house for a picnic "pit stop". We were going to go see TracyK or Tracy KC, then off to Kentucky. Funny, how after a day of liquids, I am dreaming about a picnic. You were a wonderful hostess in the dream...lots of yummy food!:hungry::hungry: I am feeling good w/ good restriction. I am on liquids...slowing moving to soft today. But last night, I made some soup (and I was hungry too) and could only eat 1/3 of it. I hope hope hope it sticks. I am ready to lose some weight!!! Hey Violets~ Ok, I am home for a quick bit before I go back to school. It was cool to see the port, and know that it was not flipped or anything. I wore my bracelet, but then they made me take it off for the flouro. It was cool to see the port and band. But that stuff made me sooooo nauseas (sp) and I am still waiting for that to pass. I am on liquids for a couple of days, and hope hope hope to begin losing weight. I really haven't lost any since the surgery month. But I am trying to stay positive. Thanks so much for all your thoughts and well wishes. Michelle~ I would be so pissed if someone talked to my daughter like that...making you look like the bad guy in front of your child! Your funk will pass honey. These things come and go! Did I tell the Violets about my bank stuff? I can't remember, but I closed an account that I have 2 payrolls going into...what the hell. Morning Violets~ I am going in one hour to the hospital for my fill. I have to drink that contrast shit...yuck yuck yucky! I am a bit nervous today. I am supposed to go to the big "kick off" at the high school this morning. All the teachers go to the high school, and have donuts (no thanks) juice (no thanks) and bad coffee. But instead, the doctors office called wants me to come at 7am. So I am playing hookey from the kick off, and going to the hospital. I hope I will be done by the time I am supposed to go to my school for meetings again. I am just gonna say, "oh yeah, I was there...I was waving to you, but you didn't see me." Ramblin' Rose...sorry. I'll post tonight, or today from school and let you know. Oh, I HAVEN'T LOST SHIT THIS MONTH. Been up and down a couple pounds, but, no loss. :think:think So I can not celebrate w/ you all...but I can celebreat for you:Banane20::Banane20:(I just love this banana). Congrats to all my skinny biotches!!! I really love and am proud of all of you. Hopefully I will have some weight loss to report at the end of Sept! OK...gotta go put my face on. Morning Everyone~ Just a quick update...today...so far so good. I did not start my period yesterday, but this is since my band, every month in the middle of my cycle I spot for one day. Yesterday it was very heavy, so I thought it was my period. I told the gyn and he said it could be from the band, since it has only happened the last 3 months. Not the band only, but my body reacting to it. Anyway, anyone else's cycle all screwed up? I wrote in quick reply, and it is sooo small, it can barely read it. That is why I usually use font size 4. Hey Everyone, Wow...crazy time of year for me. I am freakin' overwhelmed. Popping or is it pooping in to say hi. Oh, speaking of which...oh, nevermind. Been one of those weeks. I got my period 2 weeks early on the night I decided to wear my white capris for the first day of school at the junior college. My whole body has been out of whack. Are you all sitting down???? I actually "crapped my pants" this morning!:smellie:. Actually had an accident! Can not believe it. Then get my period UNPREPARED and to top it off I had a nose bleed out of nowhere today!:faint:. I AM FALLING APART!!! What the hell? Oh well, I get to chill tomorrow a bit...my last real day of summer. I've been back for a few days w/ trainings etc. but the middle school kids start next Tuesday. And I officially start work on Wednesday. If you listen closely you can hear the faint sounds of teachers crying. Denise~My heart breaks for you. Because I don't have children, I don't want to extend my advice here. Your in my thoughts sister:girl_hug:. As far as your PB, you might want to reschedule...your gonna be swollen from the PB. One more week maybe! TracyK~I know what you feel. Tracy said it very well...we know what your going through. My relationship w/ food started when I was 5 and I will have it me the rest of my life. It is how I am going to manage and handle it that matters. I will grieve that "comfort" for years to come. I want to say that I am not the best one to listen to here, but have a cheeseburger once in a while. I had one w/ a ceasar the other day. No bun of course, but cheese mustard and onion. I was great! I only ate 80% of it and part of the salad. My point is I did not feel deprived and I didn't feel like I cheated either. Maybe indulging just a bit, won't make you feel your missing something. :girl_hug: I hope I don't start leaking some other bodily matter tonight. I would hate to imagine what would be next. Just kidding, I do really love my job and am excited about teaching the new stuff this year. Enjoy your pedi...you deserve it! My neices are here (6 and 8). We are having a girls only weekend!!! We took my brother to lunch today and Kaya told him, "well, ok, but I don't want you here for dinner!" We went to a thrift store and bought dress up gowns, shoes, and the like. The girls are dressed to the nines now, and in my big closet "playing school". Kaya says, "I am the teacher, I need to be really dressed up." I am thinking, "yeah, right." Every year Aunt Pammy takes them school shopping for clothes and supplies. 300, plus 50 for lunch later...aunt pammy needs a drink. I am exhausted and I've had them 5 hours! Susanne and I were talking about having kids the other day...don't think it is gonna happen. I love my neices and nephew visiting...then leaving. Ok, off to make spaghetti for dinner! xoxo

I was not too scared, feeling very knowledgable about the band and some of it's kinks from LBT, but when the doctor looked so worried and perplexed I got a bit scared. He said, "wow, this has never happened to me." I am soooo bruised and sore today, but am trying to stay positive. Thanks for the cyber hug. I needed that. Sometimes life is soooo overwhelming. I am learning a lot about myself, which after 40 years on the planet, was long overdue. Just got out of the shower and am planning my outfit around my WWJD bracelet, it is black and white/gray. I love love love it. I will take a pix of it later and post it here! xoxox

Pam~ I am a teacher too, and I've only PB'd once on a Cape Cod vacation. Eat really band friendly food during the day, and eat real slow at lunch. I teach middle school and that is the hard part for me...a 30 min. lunch to eat, make a copy and go potty. Lastly, I have a close neighbor, and I've put her on alert...if I ever open your door w/ a crazy look in my eyes...that means HELP!!! Congrats on getting the band and have a great year!

He said he could feel the sides, but that perhaps it flipped. I am hoping that is not the case. I have no time to fix this now. And I am not losing. Honestly, after the last 2 days I've had (spent the last 36 hours crying...just having a tough time w/ some things), I could've cried at that news too. Not to mention how sore I am now. Michelle~ Thanks for that...you are absolutely right!!!! Some times I do well w/ what I put in the "pie hole"...sometimes I don't. It is my responsibility...plain and simple. And like you (and perhaps some others) I have selected to forget that my band is just a "tool" and if I don't do my part...then we know the rest. Michelle...thank you again. I always do my best thinking in the shower too!!! I have the hardest time w/ drinking w/ food. But the last 2 days, I've done really well...and I've had to do a lot of thinking about it.
