You don't strike me as the type of woman who won't speak up for themselves. Maybe it is because I am older, but I don't take shit from anyone anymore. My partner suffers from that too. She was diagnosed w/ Mieners Disease or Meiners. It was after she was repeatedly treated for vertigo, etc. They tested this and that, and then said Mieners. Hey Violets~ Just a quick pop in to say, "hollar"!!! I am home from Susannes and have a boat load of homework. Yesterday we went to LA, to Griffith Park, and then to Universal Studios! It was fun! We walked everywhere, lots of exercise and fresh air! We even met Corbin Bersen (remember him from LA Law)! It was about 85...just beautiful! Plus I was w/ the best person on the planet...ok ok...enough of this cheesy stuff, lol! Have a great day ladies. I have to hit the books now, actually, I'd rather take a nap, lol. xoxoxox

Ok, I went a bought a nice digital scale, so I can track my loss like you all. I am excited! This morning, after the shower I weighed and it was 252.? Can't remember what came after the point. Even though it is different from the doctors a bit (I doubt I lost 6 more pounds in 2 days), I will use it to track the loss. The good news is that on this scale I FINALLY LOST MORE THAN 23 #!!! So, using my home scale, I've lost 28 pounds! WOW! lol, I crack myself up. Going to Susanne's this weekend! Have a nice weekend everyone! Check in w/ you all on Sunday! xoxoxoxox

Laura~ I can't freakin believe your story! OMG. I am so sorry your going through all this. Just think, you've lost more w/ a leak than I have w/o one. :faint: But the $1500 is so much. Kat~ That NSV is great. I know, I am losing hair. I thought is was stopping, but I've noticed it is not. I always wear a hair thingy of some sort...it was 110 today...I can't stand my hair on my neck when it is hot. Congrats on your hair!!

Hey Violets~ Ok, so as you know, I had lost only 23 pounds since surgery. Then w/ my fills, or lack of, I had put on some more, 7 to be exact. So, I went in today...and since my good fill at the hospital, I've lost 6 pounds!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Mind you, all you skinny people have lost tons of weight, many approaching -50! But I have lost 2-3 sizes, but not much in the way of numbers. Here's how the drama unfolds: 280-preop weight 257-lowest after surgery 264-day of last fill (1 1/2 weeks ago) 258-today! Shit...I keep hearing Michelle's words, slow and steady...slow and steady. But I think, finally after all these months, I hopefully can break the -23 pound record. What I would give to get into the 40's! Here is what I've eaten since the fill (after the liquid and soft stage): breakfast: protein shake- 4 oz low carb yougart, 1 banana, 1/3 c. skim milk, 1/4 c. frozen berries, 1 scoop Unjury protein powder (blend in magic bullet...yum). lunch: 2-3 oz of tuna sal or chix sal (made w/ low cal mayo, very little), dozen Whole Wheat Wheat Thins, 2-3pm: 1/3 c. low fat cottage cheese dinner: healthy choice or something like it (tonight I went out w/ friends and had grilled salmon and ceasar sal). I am excited to see the -6 pounds, although I am having skinny days this past week. Anyway, cross your fingers ladies...I will go weigh next week and hopefully, I will be 250! (i wish) Kat~Hope your mouth is gonna be ok. I wish we could make it better for you. Tracyk~ what did you think about last night on the show???? Sad it is over:cry. xoxoxoxo

Morning Violets~ Another day, another dollar! Tracy, thanks again for your help. Can you come over and help me w/ my camera and getting the pix from there to my puter? I wish! Since banding, I have had an "extra" period about 2 weeks after the real one. I thought it was orgasm related, since every time I had sex/orgasms I would bleed the next day. He thought it was ovulation related, and gave me a chart to keep track. The "in between" period is more like spotting, no cramps. Then on the 6th (ish) of the month, I get the real one? Now that you mentioned it, could it be weight related? Or better yet, weight loss related? I am already peri-menopausal, have been for a couple of years. Interesting to note though, it has only been like this since April. Have a great day ladies!! xoxox

I am reminded why I don't like these shows. I am living my own weight loss reality show. The music makes it soooo dramatic. These people are working their asses off. Does anyone ever watch Workout w/ Jackie Wagner on Bravo? Great show, and her focus is on food, and food combinations. Ok..so people are talking about Brittney and her bomb performance on the Video Music Awards. She was drunk or something...either way she has NO talent. But they are saying she is fat! 2 kids and she sported a bikini (I mean, she is an idiot), but I dont think she is fat. If she is fat...SIGN ME UP! have a great night xoxox

Evening Violets~ Judy...love love love the pix. You and hubby looked great, but more importantly, you both looked truly happy. Your smile was brillant! Well, I did it! I now have only 2 jobs :faint:. They couldn't have been nicer about it. I said, "I really don't want to burn this bridge." And the dean said, "No way, we love you here...you're welcome back as soon as you can do it!" I love teaching adults, but it was too much time for me. I had a student suspended today, yes, 5th day of school. He threatened another student, repeatedly, and as I was talking to him, he walked away from me, and said to the kid, "Wait until we get back to the apartments, I am gonna drop your ass." What a little punk. His mother came to pick him up early and she ended up in the principal's office too! Her response, (ready for this)... "I told you to keep your mouth shut. If you gonna kick someone's ass, you don't talk about it, you just do it!" Well, I guess the apple didn't fall that far off the tree, eh? TracyK~ Yes I know...I am sad it is almost over. Haydee~ I think you should take that class w/ mom. When my mom turned 50, I got her an emerald and diamond bracelet...she loved it. I would give anything to take a class w/ my mom now:cry.
